It could be going to Nevada? Stockton to Nevada via 580 to 5 to 80.

The hills aren’t in Stockton. I’m 99% certain there isn’t a place that looks like that within 5 miles of Stockton City limits.

Also, If you are going to Sparks from Fremont, taking 80 right out of the Bay Area is going to chop about 30 miles off your drive.

Sadly… I know entirely too much about Stockton, California.

I’m pretty sure the Tweet was sent from Stockton, but the photo with the brown grass looks much more like either I5 near Paterson, or somewhere along 580.

I spent way too much of my life in Stockton…. Those hills aren’t in Stockton. As I said in the first paragraph, most likely the Photograph is somewhere along I5 south of Lathrop, or along 580.

I would concur, having driven the I-5 corridor so many times (and 580)

You almost never take 80 out of the South Bay because traffic is sooo bad. You take 680 or 580 and then cut over.

If you're going South, though, you cut through Pacheco, which this clearly isn't. But some of the hills on I-5 South look like this, since it takes a straight route and doesn't stick to the valley floor.

I wasn’t clear. I meant the rear roof. I’ve been noticing for a while how much darker the back of the truck is. Very few pictures reveal the back seat area.

If you look at his navigation screen it says hes on 680 and to exit at 30A in 8.1 miles. Pic was takin at the Fremont Hills. Exit 30A Goes towards Stockton 580 east.
