App says “Repair Complete” but the only update I was given today was the supermanifold was replaced for the low coolant alert. Service rep said they were still diagnosing the other alerts. I assume the app will update again when they get parts to fix the other alerts (low voltage & rear axle...
It must be the curse of the gym! Errors started flying as soon as I left my gym as well. Roadside sent a tow truck and took it in for service.

The only range I’ve really paid attention to is 523 miles before the truck threw 3 critical alerts and wouldn’t drive anymore ?
But to attempt answering your question, I drove 127 miles from home to get the wrap done and that used 60% battery (starting at 100%). They are 24” wheels on 295/45/24...
I went with gloss black calipers, gloss black wheels, gloss black center cap, gloss black ppf wrap. And yes - I have gloss black lug nut caps that are not in these images ?
I still haven’t heard if they figured out the other errors except the Low coolant alert which they ordered the supermanifold for. Hope this update to the repair progress means they did ?
Congrats on getting the truck back in working condition! I can’t wait to get my hands back on mine. I’m checking the repair progress constantly but nothing yet. The supermanifold was suppose to be on the way but now it just says “preparing” like it did before it said “waiting for parts”. I’ll...
The unknown can be concerning. I had just taken it to Miami (2.25 hour drive each way) and no issues during that trip. Just randomly happened after leaving the gym two days later.
Low coolant alert: Waiting for parts
- Service advisor says they ordered a supermanifold which is in transit, arriving next week.
Low voltage electrical system issue detected: No update
- Service advisor says still under diagnosis
Rear axle steering disabled: No update
- Service advisor says...
My VIN is almost 8900 (April 22 build) and is in service from "Critical issues detected". Seems there are many different issues with CT still occurring with newer VINs. I wouldn't suggest taking one on long road trips at this point in time.
Small update: I messaged the service advisor within the app today asking if there are any updates and suggesting they look at the truck sooner than later since it takes a week to receive parts. Sure enough a few hours later I checked the app and the truck was pulled into the service center and...
Great post! And sorry to hear of the issues you experienced as well. I’m thinking most early adopters will experience some issue large or small. I love the truck (aside from the issue I’m currently going through). The tow truck driver said I was his second Cybertruck tow so far and the other...
Small positive update: I got a loaner (2023 Model S).
Small negative update: It was filthy. I spent around 3 hours detailing it so I don't have to drive around in a garbage can.
Yea if it was a part that needed reengineering they’d probably have solved it by now. If this continues with all the new vins they’ll have some major troubles on their hands.
Wow that guy’s experience is brutal. I can only hope the issues don’t continue after I get the truck back but that seems to be the case with several owners.
Thanks I love the gloss black as well. According to other owner’s reports it doesn’t seem to be a simple fix so it could be a few weeks. Hoping for the best.
Leaving the gym today the speakers start beeping and a red alert message on the screen: PULL OVER SAFELY Critical issue detected.
I then drove it to a parking lot and got out of the vehicle to try to restart it. Same error messages. Those errors went away after a few minutes so I put it in...
