You’re right. If I bend them down, it will only work in that one position and I won’t be able to use it anywhere else in the truck. Then they will be too low. I’m just debating if I would use it anywhere else, so just sacrifice that for a simple fix where I need it. ??‍♂️

Wow. Nice job! What a pain in the ass though! I may just try and bed down the connectors. I think if they ship a new one it will do the same thing. The bed just must be raised in the middle.

OP, did your divider fit in that location of the bed without issue? Mine is “too tall” when in the middle of the bed, either just behind the locker or just next to 3 bins. It doesn’t fit in either of these locations. Seems to be an issues others had too. Curious if you had to modify it.

Just got mine. Same issue. ? It doesn’t look like modifying the feet would even work. I think the entire aluminum bottom is resting on the bed. Anyone try and bend the connection down?

Mine is similar. They told me they wouldn’t edge wrap XPEL PPF before they did it. I didn’t know any different at the time and that other places/PPF would. Looks great at a distance, but drives me nuts up close.

Do/Did you see what I would call a slight ripple distortion throughout the windshield (not just spots). Almost like looking through a fish bowl. I’m curious if this normal until it fully sets. I’ll park it in the driveway to sit in the sun the next few days. Thanks!

Had it done today. Also Xpel Prime XR Plus. 20% on driver/passenger and front side triangles to match the rears. 55% windshield. First time doing a windshield so hoping So Cal cops ignore it.

Wiping down the panels with Adam’s Matte Detailer about once a week and the front more often when I see bugs. CT is wrapped in Xpel Satin Black PPF. Using Adam’s Tire and Rubber Cleaner on trim/tonneau, followed by their VRT. 303 Aerospace was also good, but I liked the VRT a little better.

Well, OP, I’ll take you up on your offer and PM you. I had my windows (20% to match factory rear) and windshield (50%) tinted today and the detector came back sagging. They either ruined it when removing/reinstalling it, or, the temp got it. I think it’s the former and they jacked it up...

Alright, someone who actually knows about 3D printing correct me if I’m wrong, but I found this on Xometry’s website and my understanding is that Heat Deflection Temperature is the temperature at which it would deform. At 154C (309F), we’re good with Xometry’s SLS Nylon 12.

Will do. It usually doesn’t get close to 100 here until Aug/Sept, but I may drive it to Vegas in July. Debating if I want to deal with stopping and supercharging, or just taking a different car. Initial quality is good. Went over some speed bumps quickly and no issues.

Alright, this is Xometry Nylon 12 off the first version of this new setback redesign. Initially, no sag. We’ll see how it holds up on the road and in the summer. Thanks again OP!

Interesting. When I looked it up I thought it was a jammer, but now see that it can pair with the jammer. My understanding, which is not much, is that nothing but a jammer will really matter for a laser. I’ve read it’s not like the radar that hits a car a ways from you and bounces around to...
