The connectors and the feet are at the correct position though. It's the bottom aluminum bit that's too close to the bottom of the feet. If you try to fix it another way it won't fit securely
You’re right. If I bend them down, it will only work in that one position and I won’t be able to use it anywhere else in the truck. Then they will be too low. I’m just debating if I would use it anywhere else, so just sacrifice that for a simple fix where I need it. ??‍♂

No, if you bend it the way you describe, the rubber feet on the bottom will not touch the bed the way they need to for a secure fit, so the bed divider will tend not to stay put. That's why I went through the gyrations of cutting it

Oh yeah. I see what you mean. They’ll be floating and the aluminum base will be sliding on the bed.

So I took mine to service yesterday to do the recall, drive selector, and rear door latch, I also told them that the "Fixed" divider they sent was still having issues latching into the L track correctly. Today when I picked up, the service manager said the bed liner was warped, and that they have ordered a replacement. It should fix the issue. Not sure if everyone having issues may have a "warped" bed liner.
