The semi-permanent loctite should do the trick, unless you never plan on removing it you can go w the permanent.

Are you sure you didn't strip the screw hole it self? Or are you referring to the bracket coming lose from where it screws into the back of the mirror? If either mounting hole isn't stripped, I suggest taking it down, put a little loctite on the threads, tighten it down as good as you can get it...
