At least it works, I'd still probably make a service appt since you won't get one for a month anyway. im sure something is out of alignment. Did you do the calibration in the service menu? Might be different than the one you did, worth a look.

Easy fix There is some calibration method in the service menu, I don't know if it'll work being its completely jammed up, but nothing to lose at this point, you're looking at a service appt either way.
