Which PPF (texture/color/manufacturer) did you use?
Many of the black PPF’s out there are not pitch black and therefore read “grey”…it looks like yours is one of those unfortunately…
As mentioned their price changes based on supply & demand. Clearly more CT’s are being shipped than ever before raising the demand side of the equation…. There are other shops that provide this service and anything more than $5k all-in (PPF + trim) is over paying…
So care to opine on what the 8/8 event is going to discuss if not the functionality that you just described as not deliverable with the current hardware?
Sorry but you are spreading misinformation.
A) the dip layers are in fact thinner than 11mil ppf
B) ppf provides much more protection.
C) the plastics on the CyberTruck DO have a texture (you are clearly lying when you write that they are “smooth”, any CyberTruck owner can now see you are...

As you may have noted $3500 currently on their site is discounted. It can fluctuate even further depending on supply/demand as I informed you. As well, you could call them and see if they could accommodate your budget. Again they are flexible and it depends on timing (supply/demand at time of...
not too far off of what that gloss black PPF with matching trims cost… hence my assertion that most would opt to forgo the dip in favor of the PPF…
T Sportsline is offering great deals on painting the plastics. Combined with their ~$3k PPF package I think it’s very affordable actually. Especially when you just paid ~$100k for the vehicle.
