Tax Credit vs Cash for ICE clunker

Great idea, but unfortunately, there is a crap ton of carbon emittance on the EV side too, just not directly (it's more indirect emittance). Maybe the incentive should be a higher tax credit to buy an EV and to charge the EV with renewable resources that don't cause harm to the environment. The...

Tesla Cybertruck beats F-150 Lightning and Hummer EV in US electric truck survey

I just saw the specs of the F150 EV. The ICE version of the F150 is the better option for the F150, not the lighting. Unless Ford develops specs that can make the CT a run for its money, there is no way I am getting an EV F150 as my work horse. Everything is still leaning towards the CT in terms...

Maximizing MPGs w/o spending Arms and Legs

UPDATE: I took the most efficient route (i.e.: Florida's Turnpike). However, what happened today made me to decide that I am going to permanently avoid the Turnpike like I am currently doing with Interstate 4. Although I was able to match the MPGs of a 4-cylinder with a CVT, it totally wasn't...

Automated car wash w/ those horrendous brushes + waxing

I honestly hope Tesla keeps this promise and not give us lower-end scratchable stainless steel because some Kens and Karens over at the DOT said so.

Automated car wash w/ those horrendous brushes + waxing

I actually try to wash my cars at night, cuz its Florida! But this actually gets worse in day time. Hence why I ask, cuz I tend to take my cars to these types of washes if I don't feel like to hand wash it.

Automated car wash w/ those horrendous brushes + waxing

I waxed almost the entirity of my vehicle prior to my long a$$ drive to campus. On the way, my vehicle attained a ton of bird crappings and love bugs (whole front bumper was covered in dead bugs). After a huge downpour between Miami-Dade and Broward, the dead bugs and bird crappings were gone. I...

    Spotted Truck load of Teslas

?? Last time I went in a plane was in 2014 when moving down south from PA to FL. Saw no nature except the sky, clouds and ocean, maybe some green things (pretty sure those were trees?) I on-purposely took a route that was 390 miles long yesterday and it was pure relaxing and filled with nature...

    Spotted Truck load of Teslas

I'm gonna see if Tesla can give me a loaner so I can try out this whole EV thing on a road trip (of course, if they allow delivery at the factory)! I was able to rent vehicles from Enterprize on my name multiple times (insurance gave me the option), so maybe I could rent out an EV from Hertz or...

    Spotted Truck load of Teslas

I also smiled when I see a Tesla accelerate quickly and to some great exhaust notes (yes, I am referring to ICE cars). My buddy showed me a guy in his neighborhood that drives his Model S so erratically, I made it a personal mission to send that person to Gapplebee's with the CT3 (while keeping...

    Spotted Truck load of Teslas

It's FL. Very rare to see truckloads of Teslas here, yet, we got tons of Superchargers.

    Spotted Truck load of Teslas

This was from the other day while heading to the gym. Now, only if I can get into contact with the owner of Youtube Channel, Wham Bamm Teslacam, I got the associated dash cam footage! I haven't able to edit the footage but all you can hear is bass from the music. Here's the picture and video...

JAPAN HAS ITS OWN REASONS FOR NOT TRANSITIONING TO ELECTRIC VEHICLES

I pushed my underpowered CUV for 2 years to its limits. I done things most people would say could cause internal issues and premature failures. After doing a ton of research (i.e.: pushing said vehicle to its limits), it became clear: The Toyota Prius is totally pointless. We now have mid-sized...

Cybertruck is Eternal?... The last vehicle you ever need to purchase?

Definitely a daily and tow rig for sure. Will I keep it as long we keep Hondas? I am not sure. If this can be proven reliable over time (with that giant screen not having any failures at all), and I mean overtime, sure, I will keep it and have future heirs learn how to drive in this tank rather...

This site has affected my thought processes – not necessarily for the better

Some dude in the Nissan forums said his daughter filled up her 1st gen Rogue with diesel and the engine blew (I believe that was the result?) or something similar, because the car died after all the gasoline was used up.

When to install the garage charger for your CT

Only whenever I obtain my CT and figure out if both of my breaker boxes are safe to handle an EV charger. If not, I am planning an interesting charging solution. Should be cost free if this works out.

    Cybertruck Models Acceleration Comparison Simulator

In car guy terms, the CT3 sent both CT2 and CT1 to gapplebees. Glad to know that Elon is keeping the CT3 the fastest and best EV truck for the money.

China Cybertruck owner-Do you think Cypertruck works better with Alpha Dog?

Don't you guys have some weird import laws and taxes on products being imported from the States? It would be better financial wise to buy a CT that was built in China rather than buying one that was built in the states and then shipped overseas to China.

This site has affected my thought processes – not necessarily for the better

I agree with David here. Be careful. I'm very passionate towards ICE vehicles, and getting an EV was trying the waters for me. I would back-out of my reservation if the price is not where I like it (cannot negotiate the price with Tesla, unfortunately). If you cannot afford the CT then get a...

JAPAN HAS ITS OWN REASONS FOR NOT TRANSITIONING TO ELECTRIC VEHICLES

I do see Japan's point here on why they are hesitant. They got the god awful Prius (shouldn't be in existence at all), Hydrogen fueled cell vehicles, Plug-in hybrids, etc. I actually prefer the Hybrid option. We all need to slowly transition into other fueled type of vehicles, but also we need...

    Tri-Motor Insurance Cost

If insurance companies go based off of 0-60MPH ratings, I would've been paying way below $1000 for 6 months for my current car and my previous vehicle. I honestly hope it would not be astronomical of a price increase to pay for the CT3 compared to a Hypercar or Dodge Demon/Hellcat. In which...
