"Aggressive" huh...
I dove 400 miles with 200 in rain and snow 5/4/2026. FSD did great, was very conservative, kept the speed lower/appropriate for poor driving conditions.
88% of my FSD 14.2 miles are FSD. Need to improve that!
Same experience on 14.2.x. FSD did a really good job avoiding tire debris from an exploded truck tire/retread carcass.
Night driving on a gravel county road, FSD was going bonkers avoiding kamikaze rabbits. All critters lived thanks to FSD either slowing or steering to avoid the rabbits...

White Rim is a super fun 3-4 day camping/mountain bike trip with vehicle support. Been a few years (25+) since I've done it. Will be going back October-November 2026.
FYI....2026 marks the 60th anniversary of Moab Easter Jeep Safari week (it was nine days this year). Just imagine when we say the same about Cybertruck week, repeating year after year. Thanks to the organizers!
Thanks for discussing the student's behavior with school administrators. Given the length of the student's letter, good chance there was some introspection by the student and positive outcome.
I have an approximate 8% decrease at initial 6-month renewal with Progressive Insurance, compared to the original 6-month cost with Progressive. And this initial cost was 15% lower than Tesla insurance with 98-100 Safety Score . Can't wait for Lemonade to offer FSD-adjusted rates in Colorado.
@Leifmb nice work! Thanks for the details. Looks like a straight-forward DIY project. Allow time, follow the procedure, all should be good. Do you have part number for the washers? Thanks
1. YOLO
2. Die with zero (use your assets now when you can enjoy)
The decision you make will be the right one--either way. I feel buying more than basic transportation is mainly an emotional decision. For me, when it came time to buy the Cybertruck, it came down to me wanting a truck made by...
I hope someone here buys a Model S Signature edition and sells their 2026 Model S with FSD, preferably Ultra Red, Frost Blue, or Stealth Gray with 19 inch wheels. Then we both get our dream cars!
My FSD wish-list, not much progress from v12. Applies to both Cybertruck and Model S/3/X/Y:
1. Adhere to construction zone speed limits. Too often FSD either (1) ignores posted speed limit (2) adheres to the construction zone speed limit for a short distance (EG 1/4 mile) and then forgets...
Meanwhile on my dad's 1/2 ton ICE truck at 90k miles, mostly easy gravel roads (they live 10 miles from town on gravel county roads) the front suspension was shot. I replaced upper and lower control arms, tie rods etc. And after a few months I'm going back into replace front and rear...
Not yet. I am going to hire an electrician to make the neutral/ ground bond at point of first disconnect, to comply with 2020 NEC. Once this is done, I will re-connect the generator outlet...or just go all-in with PowerShare hardware. Thanks for checking on me.
@strategist if you want to dispose of to a loving new home, I can provide a token amount of money for your time and will email a UPS shipping label. I have a need for a Powershare-capable mobile connector. Thanks
