Light Bar Installation Required!? (Service center won't allow just picking up part)

I received a message from the service center with an appointment to install the light bar. I really don't want it and thought I could sell it or get store credit. That was denied. I thought maybe then I could fab a nice bracket for the light bar to make it removable. Service center says is...

    300 Mile Range Specification

Do you drive 90 mph on the interstate? Those numbers don't seem reasonable compared to what I'm experiencing.

Fix for overhead gear selector falling off

I had the same issue and the service center replaced the entire assembly. I like the added screws modification. Nice job Shay!

    300 Mile Range Specification

What speed, temperature, altitude, etc. is used to specify the 300 mile range? The reason I ask is because drag increases with velocity squared and I am getting 335 Wh/mile for my normal drive around town (over the last 9000 miles). I've only once took it on a trip where the speeds were around...

Is the 80% recommended charge real?

I always charge by Cyberbeast to 80% because that is what I read online. I tried to find that recommendation in the owner's manual and could not find any reference stating this is actually recommended. I did read you should not allow the battery to get below 20% and if you are at a super...

Weird Charging Behavior and Windshield Wiper Jump

Does anyone's windshield wiper move slightly at the start of their drives. Everytime I start driving, my windshield wiper does a small step, maybe 1/2" movement. Last night I went on a drive for about 5 miles. I came back and hooked up the charging cable but it wouldn't charge. I charge to...

Tire Rotation - how you getting it done?

2 jacks, socket, torque wrench, and a breaker bar with an extension. BTW, the cybertruck is less than 7000 lbs.

    Screen Causing 2nd Degree Burns

One would have to hold their finger on the screen for a minute or two to get a burn from 125F. Try grabbing a hold of a steering wheel in the summer in Tucson. It's a a lot hotter than 125F. A screen protector would probably help if you have sensitive skin.

An incredible upgrade for the steering!

The reason you can't steer with your knee is because the steering wheel is not round. Thank goodness for FSD. BTW, I like the shape of the steering wheel even though it can't be steered with my knee.

How many Wh/mi are you getting?

Cyberbeast, bought in August 2024. This is the nicest pickup I have ever owned.

Tire Rotation - how you getting it done?

I made this little tool to align heavy wheels on the hub. Another easy way is to set down if front of the tire and cradle it between your legs to lift and align it to the studs.

    -417 Wh/mi, I guess it's true!

I think the point of the original post was missed. It says NEGATIVE 417 Wh/m. That means is was charging. My average around town usage is a POSITIVE 320 Wh/m.
