Android App Version - what's the deal with the releases?

I've read in multiple places that some people have access to a version of the Tesla Android app that enables viewing of Sentry Mode clips. This appears to be version 4.43.5-3224. On my phone, however, when I check for updates via the Google Play Store, only my currently installed version 4.43.1-3214 is available.

So.... where are people getting the 4.43.5 version? I see it's available at a number of APK downloading sites and can be sideloaded - but I'd prefer to not install anything not from the Play Store or that I didn't write. I'm on Pixel 8 Pro, so I don't think it's a device-capability thing.

Does Tesla have some other release channel? Where are folks getting the later versions of the Tesla Android app?

Got mine on all 5 of my Teslas (one is a loaner). It was downloaded automatically by my phone.
