In my system, Powershare is inline from the meter to powershare, and the main breaker box is then fed from powershare, not from breaker. In other words, turning the breaker box main feed shuts off your house circuit breakers, but electricity is still fed from your meter to your powershare...

Other than being made in China, is there a risk in using the OBD to get power to MagBak phone mount? This is the one I'm contemplating, attaching to MagBak mounts one on left and one on right of monitor. Haven't hooked them up yet, not sure if I'm introducing a risk to power coming from OBD...
