One day on my way home from work in my Model Y (HW3) on FSD I saw a chicken in the middle of the road. It was a rural area so I figured I would see how the car would react so I just let FSD do its thing. At 60 mph, it saw the chicken and went in the other lane to avoid it (of course the car saw...
Kind of glad we bought our Model Y used from Tesla with FSD included back in 2023. Back when they sold some used vehicles with FSD. If was effectively $3000. We use it 98% of our driving. And we put on 15-20k miles a year.
Just waiting for the AI4 upgrade...
But I have a hunch AI4 isn't going...

One thing for sure is I would have a CT if they were more affordable. My wife and I both lost our job this past year. She's still unemployed. We have to pay for daycare which is painfully expensive. We give tithes to our church. Food, utilities, insurance have all gone up. It's tough out there...

Does Tesla really care now at this point? Or are they just going to accept that the CT is like the S/X? Low volume, high margins. I do hope they try to sell more CTs to the masses and they are able to drop the price, add more trims, and incentives.
BTW, it's kind of surprising how many R1S...
That would be nice for me. I remember wanting a Tesla during the boom in 2021-2022 so bad but did not want to pay $70K+ for one. Waited a couple years and bought a used 2021 Model Y in 2024 with FSD for 'half off'. I'm glad I didn't eat that depreciation.
