It's a nice notion, that your CT might be communicating with other vehicles, but yikes, the computational load might go badly exponential. Many unsolvable 'edge' cases exist which are not communicating. Say, for example, that 8 pt. buck staring at you!
The CT is what gets me 'woke' each morning, other than giggling hysterically about Tesla's stock price! The wonder about the CT is its adventure in everything, (this thing could go to Mars!) and, hopefully, next gen batteries! Three to four years is fine by me. My concern is that Tesla will...
Although, the CT will have many uses outside of FSD, depending on driving desires, I will order it when configuring my build. Right now, the cludgy AP is running as an emulation on FSD hardware! When FSD is fully op that will thankfully go away and the AI and AP will be fully integrated. Yes...

"Hope this helps! This will explain the difference between Auto Pilot and Full Self Drive
https://www.tesla.com/support/autopilot"
My god, I just read this article, and the current autopilot system seems incredibly cludgy! So many parsed out options! I suppose they're easy to get used to...
"You provided an excellent example why AI should drive."
Haha, It's true that FSD will eventually not even let a drunk or stoned driver start the car... That's great! But getting back to current day TESLAs, in the wild, most of the joy of having a Cybertruck will be in driving it on and off the...
FSD is attempting to solve 'edge' cases while auto-steering. The example above is that it will identify curbs, traffic cones, people, but probably can't solve cups, bottles, glass, rocks, squirrels, etc. Summon is clever but not terribly intelligent. How will we ever be able to trust FSD...
So at a minimum one needs to keep exposed surfaces clean. The CT undercarriage is probably, mostly, 301 stainless. Then, there's the battery frame, motor controls motors, and power couplers as well.
I'm thinking this wasn't such a stupid question after all.
I'm a little worried about Elon's slightly devious sales pitch for FSD. If full AP is converging on FSD capabilities, and AP is now included in the base price, why charge more and more for the diminishing futire FSD return? A less charitable thought is that full FSD may be a sham. I know...
Remember your PCs. Reboots, blue windows, hours on phone with tech service. Weeks waiting for repairs or mother boards... Could be the model T for our century? I hope not!
I know, that I don't know, anything.
1. I haven't driven a Tesla. So, how does one safely engage it to move forward or back directions?
2. Does it have a Park setting, on hills?
3. What kind of tutorial does it come with? If I rent one, to learn more, what is the learning curve like to...
When I get my CT I'll be turning 76, so its attractiveness to me is driving like I'm 70ish! Ha ha. When I lose my coordination, my kids will drive and I'll play with the monitor!
"Always better to pay cash for things that appreciate and finance as cheap as possible things that depreciate like cars"
Believe it or not, the CT might not depreciate much due to software updates, fsd, durability, million mile battery tech, camper mode, solar, SS. and on. It's definitely...
"The reactions of the designers remind me of the way some ICE mechanics react to electric vehicles. They are angry that their "expert" knowledge is being made irrelevant, and will advocate a return to dogma. Their motivation is ultimately self preservation".
So true, Elon is moving the universe...
