I ordered a tesla solar roof in august. After some considerations i figured it was the best way to go for me to charge my CT at home, even though my electric rates here are .05 per KWh I want to use the free energy from the sun to run my truck whenever possible.
Sadly it's not been installed yet
do a bit of research. there is entire leagues dedicated to EV racing.

Oil and gas are not going anywhere. yes we will reduce the number of ICE vehicles on the road, but you will still have airplanes that will need fuel, military vehicles, etc. Plus we will still need oil products (like plastic, grease, etc) to make electric vehicles.
I was looking over the blueprint below and something struck me that I had not noticed before.
Look at how much space is between the steering yoke and the frunk.....that's a HUGE dashboard and a lot wasted space. Do you think the final design will remove some of this?
Accidents happen. Its not going to end with Autopilot. Will it be safer? Yes, but it will never be perfect.
Billions have been spent on automation for airlines. They still crash, but it's significantly less than 20 years ago.
Actually yes they did. On battery day there was a graphic put up that the CT and Semi would use high nickel versions of the 4680 cell. I find it extremely unlikely that any CT will come with the 2170 cells, it would not make sense to have a new production model use older batter tech and have...
I didn't realize this would even be a question. We already know the CT will have 110 and 220 outlets in the bed. wouldn't be much of a stretch to think you could plug you trailer into it instead of the outlet box at the campsite.
what ill be more impressed with is if you can get a camper with a...
Two if you have mentioned gantry cranes but I do not think that’s a factor in it needing yo be concrete. Boeing has massive gantry cranes to move huge sections of aircraft and their buildings are steel construction. They are also massive open spaces without columns.
itwill be interesting to see...
I’m actually quite curious why some of it is concrete frame and roof construction and some is steel. Maybe someone more familiar with structural engineering can enlighten me.
could just be 3% narrower since the reasoning was how tight it was in the boring tunnel. If you look at the video height and length were not an issue, just width.
but again....just a guess
^^this^^
we can speculate, but it would all be pure guesswork. Elon was a big tease when he said they would show an updated version a month or so back in November....
