Other things worth noting:
Has different wheels
Has fewer speakers (15 speakers + 4 subs vs 7 speakers + 2 subs)
Doesn't have HEPA filter
Textile seats (only has front heated seats)
No rear screen
Damn, I'd buy that. Pretty sure Elon/Tesla said the Cybertruck is the last thing they're going to make using stainless steel though IIRC. Probably due to manufacturing issues/complications if I had to guess
Just announced by Elon at the GEV conference (link below)
"Today, we’re taking the Cybertruck to a whole new level of performance and innovation. With a 1200-horsepower quad-motor setup, this is no longer just a truck – it’s a game-changer. Incredible power, unmatched durability, and the kind...
I have the standard black and white ones that you'll find all over Amazon. They fit really well, and putting on the rear seat covers doesn't take much time at all (it's the front that are a pain)
Only downside is that the folding armrest doesn't close if you put the cover on it, but it's just a...
The temp of the outer lens is much cooler with LED lights compared to halogen bulbs. Not sure where you're getting this information from, but it's not true
The issue isn't that the CTs headlights can be obscured by snow/ice while others can't; it's that they accumulate snow/ice in front of the headlights MUCH faster than most other vehicles because of the design
Bunch of people have reported the same issue on these forums, and they've also said...
The CT definitely has a disadvantage because of the bumper acting as a shelf in front of the headlight
I get that there's a lot of CT hate going around so everyone is quick to defend Tesla, but as owners we also need to acknowledge and raise issues that come up so they can improve on them.
IIRC I think they initially install it using silicone, but maybe try some 3M VHB? Would probably be better than the silicone (if properly prepped, of course)
I'll be honest, I can't see the "shear point" as being an intentional part of the CT design. The risks of the truck splitting apart are too great to make up for possibly reducing the forced to the occupants if the bed is struck in a very specific way
I'm sure that as soon as the bed separated...
