You can do all that with the Tessie app on the watch. Including making it a backup key.

Some may laugh, but I've been using this 32a one that I already had running off of a 40 amp circuit and it's been just fine for our needs. I'd like a Tesla one, but don't think I have 60 amps to spare, so don't really see the advantage. This, combined with scheduling "Off-Peak" charging times...
