How do I get (force / initiate) the software update?

I’ve seen posts of many enjoying their new software update over the past many days, yet I’ve got nada. Is there any way to “force it?” According to the rest of the internet, no. You just have to wait till Tesla damn well pleases.

Update: Finally pushed through on Tesla’s own, sweet, arbitrary and undisclosed timeline. ? Thanks for the input everyone!

You need to be connected to WiFi. If there's a download ready for you, you'll get this yellow icon:

I don't know of any way to force or request an update.

Thank you. I’ve been connected, charged, done screen reset, check back every 24 hours, still nothing….unfortunately. The CT continues to be an exercise in patience! ?

almost 4 years with 3 Tesla vehicles: There is no way to 'force' it unless you get the service department to, and they won't just 'because you want it'. Patience with Tesla update cycles is important. You can TRY power cycling the vehicle (safety --> all the way at the bottom), let it sit for a while (like 15-20 minutes), come back and try again. But I've never been able to 'coerce' any of our Tesla's (all have FSD package included) to update when *I* want them to. You just have to wait and cross your fingers!

Unfortunately there really isn’t. You seem to be on a factory firmware version not widely deployed. There may be an engineering reason.

Ps. I readadvanced mode doesn’t do anything. There apparently was supposed to be a label in the build process for advanced but it’s not used. Could be hearsay but speaking for myself I have not seen advanced do anything in the last 6 years.

With Tesla patience becomes your best buddy. ?
