    Insurance cost / quotes / premiums for Cybertruck -- what's yours? 💲

Never had any GAP Insurance, but I thought GAP Insurance was in case, due to depreciation, the vehicle became worth less than the amount you owed on the loan. Think Cybertrucks will do far better than other vehicles, as far as depreciation goes, at least for the first few years, when they are...

Tesla's Cybertruck VIN Activation Tracker (NOT Customer VIN Allocations)

Wish they would just give one to MotorTrend and one to Car and Driver, so we can get some good objective reviews while we wait. Only reviewer I really trust, so far, is Kyle Connor, with Out of Spec.... Taking most all others with a grain (or lots more) of salt....

Why I don't feel Cybertruck is a work truck? It is more like a utility truck

Agree.... the fact that the Cybertruck already comes with a factory bed liner is a big plus and it saves (most truck buyers) the cost of getting one "sprayed in", which helps with the total cost. Bed liner or no bed liner though, IMHO nothing beats adding a heavy duty rubber bed mat to help...

Why I don't feel Cybertruck is a work truck? It is more like a utility truck

Little bit like an El Camino..... It's a car AND a truck at the same time.

The AWD Cybertruck no longer includes "Probable Savings" of the $7,500 Tax Credit on Tesla's Website?

It looks like Tesla removed the $7,500 Tax Credit "Probable Savings" for the AWD Cybertruck, from the Cybertruck Ordering Page. Wonder why they removed it?

Washing recommendations / tips for the Cybertruck stainless steel?

Ha. Someone could make some money off that with a "Relabeling Agreement" and package and sell it as "Cybertruck Cleaner Spray"

Washing recommendations / tips for the Cybertruck stainless steel?

Wash off bulk dirt with something like a dawn/water solution, and then hand wipe with Isopropyl alcohol. Or, shell out some extra dough to PPF wrap it and don't worry about any fingerprints.

Cybertruck wash with Dawn Dish Soap (Tesla recommended) vs. Adam's Car Shampoo

After watching this, I'm thinking better off to PPF wrap it and forget it. Plus maybe the PPF will help with the sharp edges on the sheared stainless panels.

Jacksonville Cybertruck owners/future owners chime in

I have a reservation, but I'm about 200K down the list. I'm in Ponte Vedra. Is the Cybertruck still on display at the Town Center?

    Receiver hitch propeller…

Yeah, I heard that when Tesla gets the Level 5 autonomous driving all squared away, later this year, It may be possible to get a robo-taxi ride in a Cybertruck from one side of the English Channel to the other.

    Noisy / vibrations on highway?

Kyle talks about vibration in his "First Drive" video, at about 56:00 Minutes in, then they check a second Cybertruck, which also vibrates at the same highway speed. Wondering if it might just be the tires?

Tesla lowers range estimate on Model S, X and Y (due to new EPA calculations)

Just looked and the new stated range is definitely a lot closer to what our current MYP gets. Still a little high.... at least for us, the way we drive.
