Careful, Outdoors will call you a spade!
Just joking, @Outdoors!
In all seriousness, I'm not pissed. I never said that. I said that COP was the straw that broke the camel's back for me personally (or death by a thousand cuts if that collequialism fits better for some). I get it, hold strong...
Yeah, I think I'm just continually disappointed in the CT, and honestly in Tesla writ large lately. Not a tantrum. Just my opinion. I'm in Vegas, no way I'm giving up my cabin overheat in my Model S for a CT that doesn't have one in hopes that one day they'll enable a feature the rest of their...
Yup. This will be my 5th Tesla. I'm used to things being improved as they go. I'm as big as Tesla fanboi as the next guy. But this is sub-par, even for Tesla standards. My first Tesla was a 2014 Model S. At that time, everything they did was magical. Today, they keep taking away capabilities and...
But that's via Bluetooth, and the OP was specifically requesting wired. I have way cheaper options for Bluetooth controllers. These guys are $30 and come in multiple colors.

I have/use Bluetooth controllers in my Model X. They have a USB-C port, and I imagine I could control the games with a USB-C to USB-C cable. Let me try and get back to you, since I think my late 2023 MX is probably similar hardware as a new CT.
I can't confirm on the CT, but when we first bought our refreshed Model X the back screen couldn't play games. A few months ago an OTA update enabled games on the rear screen, including with Bluetooth controllers. Hopefully that's the plan for the CT as well.
When I swipe between my existing vehicles (Model X and Model S), and my CT reservation, I recently started seeing some weird number in place of my RN for a split second and then goes back to my RN. I had to screen record and then stopped on the frame that had the number. Any ideas what it might be?
When I finally get my CT I'm going to sniff around to see if the camera can be patched in somehow. I would practice on my wife's X, but she would lose her shit if I broke it. My old S is FSD hardware 3, so not sure if the camera works the same way.
Is your equipment 12v by default? You could wire a step down converter in the frunk and drive it off the frunk 48v system. Then pull your 12v wires into the cab and power whatever you want.

My Radar Detector (which is legal in my state and almost every state, and has nothing to do with breaking laws), happens to use USB-C, so it's no problem for me. But, for anybody that wants to run normal 12v things, there are things like this that might do what you need (probably not going to...
The frustrating part is that there is effectively no customer service to talk to about it. I've been a Tesla owner since Feb 2018. Back then customer service was amazing. After the 3 came out, I thought maybe they were just slow to keep up with the number of new owners. Now I'm beginning to...
