Noticed clear fluid dripping out from the under the middle of the truck, near the driver's seat. It was 100F in Austin today so I "think" it's just condensation from the condensor. Anybody else experienced this?
The Dallas-Houston drive requires a 45-minute supercharger stop in a Model Y. Charge time should be the same in the Cybertruck. If you have kids driving is definitely the better option over bus or plane. Biggest benefit is that you actually have your own vehicle to drive on arrival.
Set my charge limit to 65%. My commute is like 12 miles each way and I'm never more than 50 miles from home. Road trips we do in my wife's hybrid
After reading this thread I realized I can get back to 65% charge before peak energy pricing
Allens Boots on South Congress, here in ATX. The have them at the checkout counter for $6. There is an even better looking rustic one, but I grabbed the metalic one as an impulse purchase
Just out of curiosity, if the Cybertruck battery is actually 4 packlets, aren't we always charging the same 2 packlets to 100%, if we're home-charging to 50% every day?
I actually spoke to a Tesla engineer in person about this back in January and he speculated this same problem. Only the level...
Driver's and passenger side, almost perfectly symmetrical wear. I'm wondering if it's because I'm doing 80 mph with the tonneau open? Texas state law mandates that the temporary plates be in the back window and visible at all times
@joesdayjob RTV is "room temprature vulcanizing silicone"
Looks like I'm one of the first 28XXX VINs (AWD), fresh out of the factory here in Austin
All of my reservation details are in the forum spreadsheet
Here are my new owner impressions (first poked around a buddy's CT back in January 2024):
Driving a Cybertruck is like going from playing Quake...
? Thanks @Tony2times ! Yes, would definitely be down to attempting this repair myself.
The earliest visit at my service center was October 11, so I have time. May you please share which RTV you used? I've had bad experiences with silicone based sealants failing on me.
Also, how do you steady...
Had the Cybertruck for less than 24 hours and the tonneau rubber seal strips are separating from the bed edges near the roof.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I did @Jasden 's leaky tonneau test (awesome video walkthrough btw) by going through a touchless carwash with the tonneau sealed...
Awesome info. I checked multiple lenders, have a top credit score and did over 30% down. Still nobody could beat Tesla’s rate. It’s because I’m in Texas and maybe other individual factors
I have successfully changed my delivery date several times, using the following methods (in order of convenience):
Text (510) 662-6378, very responsive but will ignore you if you abuse it
Call (888) ‍518-3752, 1, 1, your zip code. Coin toss if they will pick up the phone

Didn't have time to read the entire thread, so apologies for any repeated advice:
The Silverado EV WT is missing too many features
The 2025 Silverado EV LT or Trail Boss is speculated to come out next month
The Sliverado EV LT is speculated to be cheaper than the RST, but with 18 inch wheels...
Recommend not trading in with Tesla and selling your Sequoia to either Carvana or Carmax. I sold my 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe to Carvana and got $6,000 more than what Tesla offered.
Also this removes the Tesla app "balance owing" anxiety. You'll be making your down payment in cash.
