I’m not certain but on my X the doors could close automatically as well. So my guess would be that the issue would be an auto presenting door in error but then the door wouldn’t be able to close if you left the proximity of the vehicle without closing it manually.
Tesla likely will not do anything. It has the potential to hurt their brand more than they would be able to recoup. There are hundreds of CyberTrucks for sale. Imagine the headlines once Tesla starts suing their customers. And then just one case goes viral that they are suing someone that has a...
Tesla can’t and won’t buy it back. Yes they are going for high dollars on the open market. What are they going to do, sell it for more than they are selling new vehicles for? If OP wants out of the vehicle he should just sell it and make 50k and just go buy a new Tesla. They may blackball him...
Again, you can believe whatever you like. I can tell you I followed all directions I was given by Tesla. Like I mentioned in another reply, until we have a confirmed case of Tesla buying back a vehicle I will maintain my stance.
I certainly don’t have to prove anything to you but feel free to read my last reply and find said bot as well.
I understand that it must cut you deeply that people are able to sell their trucks to others that want them and have the means to pay a markup due to supply and demand. But until you...
Also, for what it’s worth, I never intentionally reserved 3 CyberTrucks. I watched the event live and as soon as it said that we were able to reserve now I tried. And tried. I tried multiple times while it errored out. I tried until I saw a confirmation on the screen. I woke up to 3...
OP here. I responded to Tesla and asked what they would offer me for the vehicle. The response I received was “Tesla currently does not offer a trade-in without a new purchase occurring, or to facilitate us taking it back without the trade-in.” I have it in writing. I had given Tesla the...
Correct. Took delivery. Had two more reservations. They cancelled those and refunded. Said if I ever try to place an order again it will not be refunded.
I have not sold anything. I listed it on multiple sites to feel it out.
I am not saying you are wrong but it would be interesting if Tesla decided they wouldn’t service an in warranty vehicle because I was banned. I think the government would step in at that point.
That would be highly illegal and I don’t think Tesla wants the government poking into lack of options if you need your car serviced and piss them off. At least with dealerships the next one down the road would be happy to take my business.
