We remember when this thread first came up, and we were in the process of doing some downright sketchy things in our Cybertruck (See photo). We identified the OEM FUCA as an obvious weak point with the 7000 lb truck, and after quite a bit of research and development time....
We may have the...
Back when we took our Cybertruck for a torture-test jumping run at the farm - yes, that video from last year - we finally managed to break something after enough jumps with a 7000 lb truck. Eventually, a factory stamped steel front upper control arm bent. Frankly, it was a matter of time. In...
If you have the links fully spaced with shims, which is the lowest ride height setting, your suspension travel is definitely quite limited. You will have about an inch of travel before bump stops - but it will look really cool
Just an update:
The first kits went out the door today!
We're really excited about these, and we've listed them as "IN STOCK" now that we have a fully revised kit ready for use.
Totally understandable. It does seem like a lot of work, so we appreciate you even taking the initiative this far to showcase all the fun CT stuff.
We would love to be included if you make an all-encompassing list elsewhere, so keep us in the loop :)
Now that we have our Mega Terra Forged Wheels for Cybertrucks shipping out, you can add us on there!
We should also have V2 of our Height Adjustment Kits available in a matter of days
Hey everyone!
We're excited to announce the official launch of the Mountain Pass Performance Triple L Ride Height Adjustment Kits for the Tesla Cybertruck.
We have had these on and off our personal Cybertruck in countless configurations without any issues, even after taking it out in a blizzard...
We have documented it - just not publicly, yet. As much as we would like to be 100% open about our findings, research and development immediately as it happens, there have been a few cases of other companies knocking off our work when we've done that in the past.
What I can say is that it's a...
So... we have a fair bit of experience off-roading the CT, and pushing it to the limits. We'll let the video speak for itself ?
A word of caution: We did end up damaging a front upper control arm!
So be careful if you intend to send it as hard as we did. If you're just regular off-roading and...
For anyone who has been waiting patiently, we have exciting news. Not only did our Rivian R1T/R1S forged wheels arrive, but so did our Cybertruck Mega Terra forged wheels! These are probably the thing we are asked about most by CT owners, and they're now IN STOCK
We're looking into this. I don't want to overpromise and say we are definitely going to provide an aftermarket solution for the FLCA bushings, but it is a possibility. I'll be sure to keep you all updated if we produce it!
Like Scott said above, there's a chance the Cybertruck had a less than stellar alignment when it left the factory.
I would take a look at the bushings in the front lower arms as well. During some of our testing we have found them to be pretty soft - especially considering the truck's size and...
I would post a photo of the pickup truck from Kill Bill but it is incredibly offensive ?
That being said, a spoiler that replaces the plastic trim on top of the tailgate could look interesting.
That is odd tire wear for sure. I have only seen that sort of wear on hard compound eco-tires that were thrashed on the racetrack. They start losing little chunks instead of just wearing down.
I have had far, far less negative reactions than I expected. I think that the CT hate is a mostly online and outspoken group. The usual reactions I get are excitement and photo requests. Kids absolutely love it too, including Sasha's kids. They are obsessed and one of their first words was...
Update for all interested - our wheels are complete and are now available for direct air shipping from Braid in Spain.
If you're interested in a set for your truck and don't want to wait until they land in the US (2-3 months from now), you can get a set shipped out to you next week!
Feel free...
Hi Everyone!
I hope you're all doing great as summer comes to a close. We've been comparing our Cybertruck and Rivian back to back (with lots of towing!) and one annoyance has been the unit conversions - as Rivian uses distance/kWh and Tesla uses wh/distance. Between that and converting between...
