3 EVs here.
2025 Cybertruck- 60 amp Tesla Universal Wall Charger
2023 Model Y- 50 amp Nema 14-50 receptacle with Tesla Mobile Charger.
2026 EV9- Regular receptacle and 2' from the Tesla Universal Wall Charger.
Agreed. If I would have a large power outage, I would like to have the ability to use the truck to fill the PWs and then the PWs power the house while I go fill up the truck at a supercharger that has power.
Not sure if this will help some people know what is needed for Powershare and what is not.

What Do I Need for Powershare?
The equipment you need for Powershare depends on the configuration of your home’s energy system.

No. I have nothing against wraps, I considered it myself. I think most of the time the truck looks better with a wrap. However, in the end I decided it wasn't worth it for me to pay several thousands of dollars to add a weaker product to protect something underneath that is actually stronger...
Hi everyone. Does anyone else hear a loud noise when climate control switches from the upper vents to defrost? It sounds like it happens when the vents or dampers are moving to redirect the air to the windshield. It works fine but makes a loud noise every time I change modes. I've owned 4...
I don't use driver assistance much in Tesla or others but I did try the EV9 driver assistance and its similar to Tesla's autopilot. Maybe a little bit better since I can put on my blinker and it changes lanes. I guess it's more like Tesla's enhanced autopilot??? This came standard, no extra...
I'm with you. I'm a family of 6 and we also have times when we have another passenger. I also have the 3rd row Y.
Kids are 16, 14, 10, 9. The 3rd row is not good for airflow and you also have the hatch window directly above that lets the sun beat down on passengers. We've put the 2nd row...
I have no idea who this is but with the $59,990 trim coming out, and they become one year old it looks like he's going to be close if not 100% correct.
The wheels are 18" or 20", not the tire size. On this trim of the Cybertruck it looks to me like the OD of the tire is the same no matter which size wheel you get. The 18" wheel will have a tire with a larger sidewall, the 20" wheel will have a smaller tire sidewall. The difference in 2" more...
This is a very good deal. If you are on the fence about this, put down the deposit.
After the 10 days:
If the trim is no longer available, you got an awesome truck at a great price and a unicorn.
If the price goes up, you're good again.
If the price goes down (doubtful), cancel your order and...
I read a lot of comments that if people knew that they would've offered free SC they would've waited to order and they feel they got ripped off.
I know that everyone values things differently, but this got me thinking...
Serious question- What is free SC worth to you? $5k, $10k, $15k? Again...
True. $50k in Nov of 2019 has the same buying power as $61,300 5 years later.
It's also easy to see why those who put down a $100 deposit when they saw the planned price of $39,990, $49,990, and $69,990 could not follow through when they found out the actual price 5 years later. Which is at...
Why dId you feel that you needed to follow through with this when your number was called? Especially when the price was what... $50k more than originally advertised when you put your deposit down.
You mentioned that you're a first time purchaser but you also mentioned "turning their noses up...
👏 Thank you for being a voice of reasoning.
Everyone had a choice. Some decided to wait for the better deal, others wanted the best truck available ASAP. Neither is right or wrong, but we all had a choice and made our own decisions for our own reasons. Seems wrong to now say "you owe me...
I'm experiencing the same thing. I'm also in the NE, these last few weeks I noticed it and I have also never experienced this before in any vehicle.
That being said, I've never had a vehicle with this big of a dash, I guess it's possible that there is more cold air on the dash area since I...
Yeah really! It's pretty bad when auto manufacturers add an alarm to remind you to check the backseat for your child. Sadly, they probably don't forget their phone.
I couldn't agree more. Beautiful car btw. I had the same color on my 2013 S P85+, also my first Tesla. I had the rear facing jump seats in the trunk.
When the 2012 Model S came out that's when I started following Tesla. The more I read about that car the more and more impressed I was...and...
