Just to clarify, this latest change doesn't really change anything with me. I was surprised by it, but it doesn't really impact me. I will still support Tesla, this doesn't change that AT ALL.
I never bought FSD and only 1 month did I pay to rent it to see what it was like before I got a free...
Yeah, the rule of thumb that I always heard was that it needs to be stood up for twice as long as it was laying down before plugging it back in. I'd still rather not lay it down if I could help it to avoid the risk. But that's just me.
I was going to write the same thing!
Did they do anything different to improve this or did they just swap it out for the same part that may fail again in the near future?
If they didn't do anything different, I'm still concerned for those that had it replaced as well as those that didn't (yet).
Thanks. Do you see this at times too? I'm a little surprised that with the lower speeds we're charging with from home that this is noticeable. Although, I guess even regenerating braking is limited due to this...
Anyone ever see limited amperage at times when charging at home?
I have a UWC wired to a 60 amp breaker. I usually get the full 48 amps but on two separate occasions recently I'm getting reduced charging rates. Once 29 amps and once 41 amps.
Today (and most times) it charges at the full 48...
Mine does this at times too. I'm not really sure why it does it but it will come back. I'd say 95% of the time it shows the Cybertruck like it should.
I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not but I have the UWC that the truck is plugged into.
One time I went to the truck on the app and...
I got to be honest, when I first saw it I didn't like it. Oddly enough, my wife REALLY liked it. Since I owned a Model S P85+ at the time, and live and breathe Tesla and search online every single day for anything Tesla related, I continued to read more and more about the Cybertruck and as I...
Correct, it's on the wrong side ;). Maybe when Musk allowed everyone to use SC and the NACS, the only stipulation should've been to install the charging ports on the drivers side rear like Teslas. Otherwise "No Telsa SC for you!"
Sorry to get off topic.
Back to the original post...I've been telling my wife for a few years now that on the interstate signs that show a Sheetz or Wawa (local stores to me), that they should have a Tesla logo in the bottom of their box to indicate a SC station located there.
Although I do...
I think Tesla should charge more for non-Tesla's to charge at a SC. In my opinion, they still aren't charging enough. Especially when you consider that at most of the charging stations they are taking up TWO spots. At these locations they should pay over double. Why does Telsa charge Tesla...
Haha. No need to apologize. You didn't touch a nerve. I don't care what people think. If you care what people think then the Cybertruck isn't for you.
I'm not saying this is better than that. Like I said I am a HUGE Tesla fan so me buying anything other than that is not normal. The space...
I've been following Tesla since 2012. I owned an S P85+, I'm currently on my 3rd MY, currently have a Cybertruck, 22kw tesla solar system with 2 PW, and a tesla shareholder. It'd be tough to find a bigger Tesla fan than myself. That said I just purchased a 2026 Kia EV9 a few days ago. For a...
Buy it now.
I'm in a similar situation. I have Tesla solar, two PW+s, and a Universal Wall Charger. I bought the Cybertruck in March and I'm waiting for powershare.
