Service will sell the parts for $199. I had to speak to a manager but they sold the pack to me and then also drilled the Rivnut holes and installed them for an additional $200. Then I installed everything else myself. Keep trying other service centers.
I see you have the winter tire package installed with the wheel caps for the OG Cyberwheels...are you seeing any sidewall damage from those rubber tips? Reason I ask is I had them on mine, same setup with the terrestrial armor, it was digging into the sidewalls of all 4 tires...which I was able...
I’m loving mine so much, it looks so damn good, I’ve been just sitting in my garage turning it on and off cause I haven’t driven at night yet lol
Yeah I mean I get the liability issue which is why they won’t install it or that’s what they told me anyways.
Honestly the install once the Rivnuts are drilled and installed was super easy. With a second person it would be even easy just put it in Entry mode and get a ladder or step stool on...
Clean the windshield and lightbar with isopropyl alcohol, apply the adhesive promoter, apply 2 sided tape to lightbar, install lightbar on the windshield, screw brackets to the lightbar and then screw it to the frame of the truck roof, connect the plug to the cable behind the passenger B-pillar...
Got it installed, FINALLY!
Service sold me the mounting parts ($200) and charged m3 ($250) to drill the holes and install the two Rivnuts. Then I mounted it all and success! Overall, all in, $1600, which isn’t bad considered a replacement and install from the Service I’ve seen quoted to $2500.
So my service center would NOT install the eBay purchased lightbar due to liability reasons but they sold me all the parts for install myself for $199 and then drilled the two holes and installed the Rivnuts for $249 which now allows me to install the lightbar and secure it with the new...
Yep, v3 is 1937354-30-A, the prior v1 and v2 are 10-A and 20-A respectfully so make sure you see the actual part number on the box before buying from a seller. New Beast owners are saying Service wont even give them the Lightbar, they are requiring them to have it installed so they can't resell...
This is correct, I am a regular CT AWD owner, VIN 78k and purchased a brand new V3 OEM Lightbar from eBay ($1200). Package was sealed which is nice and has the new connector so no soldering is required. I did purchase all the installation hardware from Tesla at a recent service appt for $200...
I more so want it for aesthetics but good to know. When it's on, you can definitely tell it's on, haha. I dont really care if it's not the best and brightest.
If I am understanding this issue correctly, long road trips wouldn't be affected by this issue as Supercharging is DC fast charge as opposed to the PCS only controlling AC charging from a mobile or wall charger, correct? I never charge my 79k VIN at home as I have free SC through August 15th but...
Meh, police shmalice lol, I took my side mirrors off and haven’t had a front license plate (both of which are “illegal” in Colorado) and never had one issue.
Unplugged Performance looks amazing but those bozos INSIST on putting their branding (UP) in everything and the last thing I want is to pay full price and do their marketing for them. I want my truck to look custom but also OEM...sadly UP isn't that. CybertruckCO has an option but honestly I...
Hello!
Now that the installs of the new bracket have been started, I am wanting to buy the OEM Lightbar from a very kind CyberBeast owner who isn't wanting the fuss of scheduling an install appointment or who may not like that a bracket is now required for install. I am in Colorado and also...
Yep, agree with the posts above...Great looking truck, great range (which I had that type of range, haha), but software and tech inside...just puts me off. Also, I had a 2017 Bolt and a 2019 Bolt that got recalled and honestly, I just am past trusting GM with my families life from here on out...
