Fully agree with OP. Homelink is the standard. It's what works with pretty much every existing garage door. To not include it as at least an OPTION (my '15 S came standard with it!) is a fail and frankly an insult. Paying as much as I did for my FS, I should not have had to dig up the old remote...
For the last two nights, I've been seeing these messages on my phone when I get up in the morning.
This might be since the latest software update (2025 20 3). Anyone else seeing it? It finally stops charging at the percentage I've specified (75%), but why it's doing this, I don't know.
Mine has done this two or three times now. It's apparently repeatable behavior.
Something I've seen recently is FSD selecting the left lane at a red light when it (apparently) notices a semi in the right lane. Light turns to green and the left lane traffic passes the slow semi... FSD changes...
A consistent UX design. It's so annoying to have information jump around on the screen depending on what else is being displayed. Just pick a spot and keep it there.
For a tech company, the user experience is pretty shabby.
It would be nice if there was another position for the seat bottoms that drops the front edge to be even with the back. Otherwise you're shagging... I mean, sleeping... in a bit of a ravine.
Please follow up here with anything new you learn along the way. I don't have problems getting the latch to work on any of the CCS plugs I've used with my A2Z adapter, but it's a STRUGGLE to get the connector seated deeply enough for it to latch successfully. I just sent a note to A2Z asking...
I haven't tried doing any modifications, because I'm able to get the adapter to seat with some effort. I might have to ask A2Z about why it's to tight though, given how smoothly it works in the video you posted.
I went back through the comments from the person who taped the button in their...
For what it's worth, I've never had ANY of the CCS connectors I've used slide that smoothly into my A2Z adapter. Never. However, they told me that the one I was sent was the 'new design' that didn't jam like the original. If that's the case, all I can say is I'm glad I don't have one of the...
Ah .. it's the brand of connector on some CCS chargers. Now I get it - I was trying to read your comments as if it was part of the adapter you use. My bad! ?
I'll look more careful at the CCS connectors in the future, but I've had failures and success with adjoining identical units, so... ?♂️
A setting to optionally turn off the daytime running light(bar) on the frunk when the headlights are on.
The worst drive I've ever had was through a heavy snowstorm with massive flakes in absolute darkness. That DRL lit up the flakes to the point of being absolutely dangerous...worse than...
The divider panels serve as baffles to reduce side to side sloshing.
A 120 volt sump pump can be dropped in and powered from the box socket. Garden hose and nozzle and you can get a few gallons where you might not otherwise be able to get them. In my case, to extinguish the smoldering remains...
The two divider panels my truck arrived with create three compartments in that storage area. They don't provide a seal between the compartments, but they do function as baffles to reduce the sloshing side by side.
I had to extinguish the remains of some slash burn piles. I used the underbed...
Hmmm, a magnet attached on the inside of the steel is an interesting idea. You can access the inner face in the frunk, but nowhere else that I can visualize at the moment. I might have to try that just to see how the field travels through the stainless. If it does adequately, maybe a piece of...
The problem with stainless is it's not great for magnetic attraction. I've used mag mount antennas over the years and have found that while I can make the mount stick to the frunk lid (flattest piece of steel on the vehicle, it's a pathetic force and not enough to drive with the antenna in...
This is a nice system - I think I've admired it a few times in the past few months! ?
Are you comfortable with the weight of the panel on the tent roof? The tent supports are up to the challenge? That was my concern when brainstorming panel locations.
If you are already taking an unavoidable...
