Charging installation ??? Whats high priced or reasonable prices

Pretty sure the 14-50 outlet requires a 50 Amp breaker and my Tesla wall charger has a 60 Amp breaker. Don’t make me go out to my panel and check for sure. I have both.

#2223 could this be the latest count?

If you consider likely production rates, 2223 for the number of CTs made to date is low. If they had 400 CTs finished on 12/1 and 82 days later, yesterday, 2,223 would be about 22 CTs per day. Hopefully the production is higher than that.

Charging installation ??? Whats high priced or reasonable prices

The least expensive 240v charger is a 14-50 outlet. One of these will charge my M3 at 30 miles per hour. The Tesla Wall Charger will do 45 Miles per hour. It will charge a CT at maybe 20 (?) miles per hour. Not sure about the CT charge rate. It needs a 50 Amp breaker and #6 wire. As...

Great information about PowerShare installation companies, pricing & configurations

Really good video, thanks for sharing. I found out four things: 1) The power backup is not instantaneous when the grid goes down; 2) It won't power solar panels to work when the grid is down; 3) A Powerwall battery will fix both of these issues; 4) Future Teslas will include similar CT hardware...

My Cybertruck delivered with rust stains, but easily removed with Bar Keepers Friend cleaner

When I said “wrap” I was thinking of a temporary transportation protective wrap, not a $6k finished product wrap. Easy to confuse.

    Cybertruck spots/corrosion

You have seen spaceships when they come back right, thinking space shuttle? Their exterior looks like it has been to outer space and back (and very dirty). Did Tesla promise the CT SS be impervious to wear and discolor? The important part to me is it should be cleaned before delivery. When...

My Cybertruck delivered with rust stains, but easily removed with Bar Keepers Friend cleaner

I’m surprised they don’t wrap the CTs going by rail. And why would the new owner have to clean his brand new CT? The delivery prep should get all those spots removed before delivering the CT.

    Oregon VIN secured

Yeah, but how about that zero state income tax bracket everyone in Washington is in?

XPEL Stealth installed on my Cybertruck, looks nice

Oh man, Gene! You are driving right through where I live and didn't even give me a call so I can run to the freeway overpass for FSCT watch! Great job on the wrap and the mileage! It is funny how in the old days we might race to see whose car is faster. No sense in two CTs racing each other...

Most Accurate Estimate of Current FS Orders

My guess on why VINs seem to be random is the trucks are made with a sequential VIN rolling off the production line. If a truck has an issue, it is set asside and fixed ASAP, but at a later date. Once fixed, it is shipped. The owner reports delivery with a low and out of sequence VIN. The...

Most Accurate Estimate of Current FS Orders

I agree with your estimate. New vin inOregon today, 1951, Ordered on 12/16. I’ve done simular calcs and came up with 20,000 orders. Tesla will have to make 55/day to fill 20,000 in 2024.

    Install Home Charger Before Delivery?

I believe Tesla sends the home charger and Powershare hardware to a Tesla certified electrician for installation after you receive your CT. Do you have any kind of 240v outlet in your garage you could use in the meantime? A dryer outlet (or 14-50 outlet) will work fine.

Cybertruck Order Charts: Geography, Model Type, Options, RNs Ordered (Final Update 2/20/2024)

I don’t believe you are very much richer if you spend $20k extra for a FSCT vs a regular old CT. Throw in the cost for insurance and alll CTs are for pretty affluent consumers. Yes, my dear, some people think we are rich! Ha ha ha… Well, at least until we spent it all! Mikey!! I am laughing...

First impressions after my Cybertruck delivery: The Good & Bad (Maybe)

I had a ’65 Shelby Cobra (not the Mustang), and many people would ask if I minded if they took a picture of it. I don’t recall anyone actually touching it. All the talk about fingerprints has junst encouraged admirers to reach out and touch it just to see their fingerprint! It’s gona be a...

Cybertruck Order Charts: Geography, Model Type, Options, RNs Ordered (Final Update 2/20/2024)

I have FSD on my M3 and it has scared me silly several times. I don’t like being a tester/guinea pig. It has improved a lot over the 2+ years and every update I’m hopeful for great progress. Add to that, Tesla doesn’t normally let you transfer FSD to your next Tesla. If you trade cars every...

FS is closed, prove me wrong

Your 15,574 order count devided by 33/day is more than a year’s worth of production. Sure, all the numbers are wrong, but they likely have plenty of orders to keep them busy and no need to send out a bunch of invitations to order. I bought a FSCT so I would have a chance to get it this year...

Cybertruck Order Charts: Geography, Model Type, Options, RNs Ordered (Final Update 2/20/2024)

I agree Tesla is trying to make as many CTs as they can within quality constraints. I’m assuming they can make a FSCT as quickly as they can make a standard CT. I certainly agree, they will stop making FSCT if they can’t increase volume. My point is if the wait list is a mile long for FSCT...
