I rang my insurance company (Farmer's and Hagerty) last week re CT and they both stated that coverage cannot be assessed until they have a valid VIN#. FYI, Hagerty does NOT handle primary vehicles, only rare/classics - but for those they have great rates and coverage.
YES! Mine just arrived and it is NOT the original one that had sold out, rather this is an actual scale model of the latest production model. Die cast metal/stainless, with correct interior, opening doors and tailgate (tonneau cover slides out but does not roll up).
Yes a bit pricy, but...
Thank you Newave1331 and VR Driving for the chart estimates and your prospective. In today's Munro video EM seemed to back off from restating his initial annual rates of 125k and 250k for 2024 and 2025 respectively. Instead claiming he could not provide information that would be material for...
Read the first part of this chain - the first 1000 VIN numbers are reserved for Foundation (EM's take on Founder) vehicles. If you were in that group you got an invitation. Otherwise there rest of us must wait our turn in line...
True, this is the 2019 demo model, but I suspect that Tesla will discontinue this in favor of the final production model just released in the near future (perhaps as soon as these sell out). In which case this might become a collectors item...
I agree! I have Xpel on my Porsches and this quoted price is very good for a full (all stainless surfaces) wrap. Xpel also has a 10 year warranty (but its a little wonky as it requires an annual dealer inspection).
I've found wraps really only last about 5 years (maybe even less if off road...
NOTE - Beast versions are induction machines, ie. induction motors and NOT RPM (rare-earth Permanent Magnet) motors. This is a leap over other Tesla vehicles as those are RPM.
Cybertruck is truly revolutionary!!
Thanks to JBee for his in depth discussion on this forum here...
I've got a Porsche 992 Turbo S (this is the current top 911, without going into racing versions) and its rating in Launch Control mode is 0-60 in 2.7 s. Cybertruck kicks ass...
For my use case I would prefer this option in the frunk, but:
1) It would need to be semipermanent due to the weight
2) Cybertruck is self leveling so the change in weight distribution shouldn't be an issue (assume 500lbs)
3) Frunk placement could also provide additional V2L outlets (there are...
As a Porsche nut it's considered friendly to flash one's lights when they see another Porsche. Kind of a little, "Hi there!"
It would be cool if Cybertruck could detect and automagically flash its lights when another Cybertruck was in the opposite lane.
