I'm not doubting you haven't had any issues, but I can say with confidence that your wireless charge rate is reduced - either due to the silicone cover, or the physical-impossibility of the OEM pad lining up with a 16 Pro Max.
Maybe you're wirelessly charging at 5watts, and that is certainly OK...
Because the charging coils in the OEM pad don't line up to the coils in your Samsung. Sure, they are 'close enough' to begin a charging session. But a lot of heat is wasted due to (lack of) proximity.
And if you happen to not get them close enough initially, it just won't charge, at all...
Ya. I know there are some vendors with solutions, and I would have preferred to buy something 'off the shelf', but none of them:
Use OEM Apple MagSafe
Can deliver a full 25w to each device (you need to use the 120V outlet for such, can't split the truck's USB-C to deliver that much power...
As I referenced above, there is no way the Tesla OEM pad (as designed) will ever work properly for iPhones and probably most Androids. The charging coils simply don't line up.
As such, I've been able to DIY a permanent solution that works 100% and can charge two iPhones at 25w each via MagSafe...
If I feel the need to go crazy fast, I also have a '24 S Plaid. My AWD Cybertruck definitely feels more rear-wheel-drive when doing normal city driving, which I prefer. Which is 99% of my use.
So the extra money was not my concern. I drove the CB plenty of times. Definitely great, and maybe I...
OK good news! This "Divider 2.0" definitely works with the OEM textile mat, and likely other liners as well. :)
Just unscrew the feet, and it it's a perfectly snug fit. I didn't have to push down or do anything awkward, it's like they were made for each other.
Best audio = Cybertruck, hands down. I do own one.
And I can say this after owning the following:
2024 Model S Plaid
2023 Model 3 Performance
2020 Model 3 Performance
2021+ Model X is good, too! But CT still wins.
Do all Cybertrucks have the orange-UV-windshield glass? I know my Model S does for the roof, but the later Model 3/Y did not.
I did a fairly thorough walkthrough of my 03/26 build, and didn't notice any other changes from what's already been reported, i.e. the infotainment computer/info is...
Can confirm... took mine down a very broken paved road yesterday and heard the tiniest of rattles.
'Oh boy' I thought to myself, normal Tesla build quality strikes again.
Turns out, the rattle was my sunglasses, sitting in a AO tray behind the center screen! I put the glasses on and the truck...
Hey guys - I have been reading this thread and others in hopes to get a bed divider that will work with the OEM textile mat.
Good news! I got a new revision(?) called 'Bed Cargo Divider 2.0" on the box, directly from Tesla.
Mine has a 5mm "foot" that looks to be removable, which will allow it...
