Jamming radar is illegal in TX, as it is in almost all states.
It's actually an act of war in the air... that's why the Nimitz incident with Cmndr Fravor in the F18 got so much international attention, once it was finally leaked to the press.. that is.
Those darn radar-jamming flying TicTacs!
I live in Texas.
Trust me, detectors are VERY useful here.
I have routinely driven to Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio and back for day meetings from Austin for 10+ years and have had them save my ask running triple-digit speeds countless times. Hundreds perhaps lol.
A good radar detector like...
You see motorcycle cops using lasers in cities, but it's much more difficult for them to use than radar. I've only been zapped by laser 2-3x in 30 years, at least according to my radar /laser detector. Radar, all the freaking time.
How many reservations do you have?
I would think they would look out for that and prohibit EXACTLY what you are trying to do... so that guys like me can get on in a fair amount of time.
There is no reason a radar detector wont work in a CT.
I use one on the daily, an escort 9500ix and waze open on a dash mount.
Together, with other drivers alerting waze and early detection miles away from the escort, I have to be out on the road by myself not paying attention to be nabbed.
Wasn't the model 3 supposed to be $35k?
They start at $47K now.
I'm worried the Cybertruck is going to be really expensive, even though it's supposed to cost less to manufacture than a traditional pickup truck.
Very cool, the only guitar I know he used a lot that had blade pickups was the Rasta guitar that is currently in Dwezil zappa's care.
