Repeating my earlier comments about Ford to get the point across.
Ford makes the shittiest cars and trucks on the planet.
They have more lemon law claims than the next 2-3 brands combined.
I used to work for Ford credit and MANY family members have bought MANY Fords, and they are just too...
Anything uses more energy towing, it's nothing to do with EVs. But, as EVs use a fraction of the energy while producing exponentially more power, they will still be more efficient.
This youtube channel is always interesting with regard to towing efficiency, which showcases this...
Absolutely not, no way... Rivian is Ford DNA.

I used to work for Ford in dealer services and MANY family members have bought MANY Fords, and they are just too problematic and the dealers don't...
I wouldn't even consider buying an EV from any company other than Tesla, with only one possible exception - Lucid.
That damned SUV they are working on looks incredible.
Capability and specific features might be different.
What I'm saying, is they are getting the "capability" he wanted, 1500+ hp, with 2x plaid motors in the rear and a 3rd legacy unit up front.
If there is a quad-motored variant.
I've heard that the same 3 configurations will be offered, and to get the insane speed he was wanting when he tweeted about the quad motor, they have (now that the engineering is finalized nearly a year after the tweet in mention) settled on the original 3...
52 cubic feet, under the dash?
You realize that is a lot larger than the internal dimensions of an average sized refrigerator, right?
just trying to figute out, based on that pic you shared which isn't what the current interior looks like from what I've seen, you have a lot of legroom between...
Tell me how you figure there is almost TWICE the volume of a refrigerator fitting in this area, while also not taking into account any room for suspension, steering linkage and power steering components, air-con, brake boosters, fluids, electrical components, wheel wells, and also - the driver...
I have a different theory as an engineer.
I dont think there is room in the front for 2 motors.
The problem with Cybertruck speculation is 95% of it comes from people just making shit up, that are chomping at the bit for attention.
Take UFOs for example... it's the same thing when you bring it...
I think it's going to be a tri-motor with 2 big ones in the back and a lighter-duty one in the front for on-demand torque applications, and do not think it will be a quad motor.
What other options do I need to add?
Place your bets :)
I have a question OP.
Do you have much experience as a Turo host?
I've been a host a few times going back to about 2018, and a member of the big Turo host group on FB.
