Sorry, no Cybertruck spotting. Went to their HQ and HP HQ. No sign of the CT. Pretty sure they have it store inside over night. Saw the security model x that was seen in the " off-road" CT video.
Hello,
Going to head down to Palo Alto to HP headquarters to see if I can get a glimpse of the elusive Cybertruck in the wild. Got my gear ready! No potato cam here lol. Wish me luck!
You don't need to look thru that glass, especially if you have tonneau closed...they have cameras that display to the rear on the screen while driving or backing up.
The wiper does look much better in final form.
I would say take rate would be in the 30% range...much different times from 2019 till now especially rates for loans. Plus if the prices are much higher than anticipated more will fall off. Pretty sure what they will do is message the first aay 100k reservations and ask to configure their...
Here are the four issues and I'm curious about the fixes.
traveling or turning through certain intersections during a stale yellow traffic light;. they should stop instead?
the perceived duration of the vehicle’s static position at certain intersections with a stop sign, particularly when the...
With all things metal, if it's a multi piece sliding mechanism that experiences heavy loads repeatedly and over time, i would assume it will bend eventually and not slide closed properly.
If it was designed as one piece properly reinforced should have much better use over a longer period...
I'm just thinking they will need at least 10 gallons for the extreme lift needed to raise and lower the CT. The model S looks to have about 4-5 gallon tank. Rivian R1T looks to be about 10 gallons. Will post a pic for comparison.
I was just saying as a work truck I just wouldnt want glass...
I'm thinking 11 total cameras needed and where I would place them
3 cameras in front-
1 in the middle facing forward
1 in the headlight facing right
1 in the headlight facing left
Cameras in the headlight would reduce a part to install in the bumper or somewhere else. Headlights can be made...
Elon has always conveyed this truck as a tough as nails work truck....i expect the compressor to be heavy duty and be at least 10 gallons. 240v should have at least 1 30 amp and 1 50 amp. I could give up side sails for better pricing...adds alot of cost and complexity to the package. Glass roof...
I think for Tesla to qualify for the subsidies all the "new stations" promised must be interoperable. This would be the easiest way for the government to keep track of stations and money given. Tesla would also get credit for stations that are converted with magic docks.
I believe at the end of the day yes there will be more chargers from other companies, but as of right now Tesla are the most reliable. I do not believe these other companies will magically be more reliable, and the government should hold them accountable if they are accepting these funds...
Correct, also newer Teslas have heated windshield glass that also helps heat the blade. If you plan ahead you can have car pre heated and windows defrosted, took 5 to 10 mins when I was in Tahoe recently.
I know majority ppl on here do not currently own a Tesla but the remote climate control...
Definitely not for CT, but could be for a future project like a cargo van or an RV. Imagine an RV with like 600 mile range with all the fixings, bed, stove, fridge, heat pump/ a/c unit...MW charger..would be sick!!!
Or if the CT can sustain 250kw for longer than a couple mins then V3 superchargers are fine.
I live 35 mins from Palo Alto, i should just drive around their headquarters looking for this beta lol get way more pics and vids. ?
I could see Tesla building their own giga press one day and make most of the vehicle structure in 3 parts..front rear and top castings. Hopefully we gets some concrete details and pricing...but i think with such a big launch for CT it will get its own launch event with first deliveries.
