  1. Renault ad: embarrasses Tesla Model Y

Ironically, those from the USA for the most part could care less because they have never heard the name of that company in their entire lives ? Those who are savvy enough to follow global markets relative to the impact of the performance of these companies in that market will watch for market...
  2. Platinum Pure PPF on 24" Wheels Ferrada FT3 + Nitto Recon Grappler Tires

Sorry not sorry: Meh. To each their own and I hope you like it. For me, nah bro or sis or non bi.
  3. 20" Core Wheels Now Arriving (w/ Custom "CYBRTRK" Pirelli Scorpion ATR Tires) – Photos & Video

Can I be inflammatory? Hell yes! Dislike both wheels. Dislike both OEM tires. In particular I have no trust for Pirelli tires which were the only brand i have ever tossed in any vehicle at 100 miles on the tire set (my Model S). No thank you, never buying them again. Also not a fan of...
  4. Tesla Cybertrucks Can Be Bought Right Now Without Reservations

This is not new news. And what you can buy right now is still foundation series, not the non-Foundation Series. They simply opened up FS to anyone who wants one before they open up the non-FS, which will most lilely go back to invitation-only working from the front of the reservation list...
  5. Lights so Bright - Getting flashed 75% of the time

It’s not that i ignored it. I just checked with the service center (twice) when i first got the car (people didn’t do that to me with the kia sportage i traded in for the model S) and again after i had to replace the headlights about 3-4 years ago. Both times they were aligned properly and in...
  6. Lights so Bright - Getting flashed 75% of the time

I can assure you that my headlights are properly aimed and my lenses are clean AF and I am constantly flashed as if my high beams were on when they are not. So I suspect it is not quite so simple. Just my experience. Cheers.
  7. Warped tailgate issue after hauling load

Are you kidding me? There is no such thing as “Ford Tough” in reality. Ads on TV do not define what happens in actual use. I know plenty of people disapponted with the bed performance of Ford pickups. Come on man. Wake up. Just my two cents. I call shenanigans. Are you a Ford plant...
  8. The Most Amazing Story of the Year involving Tesla

And most importantly, the driver was able to escape the submerged Tesla.
  9. Lights so Bright - Getting flashed 75% of the time

As an aside, this has been an issue with my Model S since day 1 and I have had that car for 11 years. I basically have to make sure i delay going from high to low beams so people see me downgrade my lights in oncoming traffic or they think i’m just an @$$hole with my high beams on all the time...
  10. Light Up Your Entry: Illuminated Cybertruck Door Sill Plates LED Lights

Personally I would never be interested in something like this that had to be charged. If they are not hardwired and powered by the vehicle itself to me it makes no sense whatsoever. Permanent install that turns on at night or in low light automatically makes much more sense. Just my thoughts...
  11. Towing Torture Test: F-150 vs. Cybertruck.... One Overheated, One Effortless

Haha! ?⛽️? Cue the Calvin standing on a CT pissing on the Ford emblem with the urine stream forming the words “STEER BY WIRE” decals in 3… 2… 1… Cheers
  12. I need a JACK

His question was legit. Perhaps you have never had a directional tire before? With directional tires unless you take the tire off the wheel you can’t do an X swap style rotation because you can only move the front to the back and the back to the front on the same side of the vehicle unless...
  13. Paint Tonneau Cover?

Somewhere on this forum one of the early wraps posted had wrapped the slats of the tonneau as well as the rest of the CT so it is doable. Not sure about the longevity or if it beats up the wrap opening and closing the cover though. Cheers
  14. PSA: converting the cybertruck to camper, then change dmv registration to private use.

Thanks for letting us all know that. What’s the before and after registration fees? I already had the breezer window on my short list for earliest modifications to my CT when I get it, so now I have yet another reason to do so. Do you just fill out the form and then make an appointment at...
  15. PSA: converting the cybertruck to camper, then change dmv registration to private use.

Pardon my naïveté, but does the California DMV force you to register the CT as a commercial vehicle if you purchase it for personal use as your daily driver? Never heard that before so I’m curious what the deal is and you couldn’t just tell them it’s not for commercial purposes.
  16. NEED HELP - Egg off PPF

I don't know specifically about PPF, but with vinyl wraps when I have had things like this I have used a microfiber cloth with denatured alcohol with success in the past but you may want to test it on an obscure place first to make sure it doesn't do anything to the wrap. Hope that helps. Cheers
  17. Subwoofer distortion?

Understood. Still wish they had this functionality though, as I have for the last 11 years with my Model S. Cheers
  18. Honest Question - Appropriate Venues For Cybertruck?

If it’s your only vehicle and you need to drive somewhere then everywhere is appropriate. If you have a choice of a less flashy vehicle and you are attending an event where the attention should be on someone else (like a wedding) then i would personally avoid bringing it to avoid stealing...
  19. Subwoofer distortion?

The fact that Tesla has no Aux miniplug input for people to use their own DAC and / or music source has always kind of killed me. Agree that Tidal or one’s own ripped files in as high quality as possible off a USB stick rather than via bluetooth helps a lot when you have a system where it...
  20. Subwoofer distortion?

So I don’t have my CT/CB yet but I’m a bit of an audiophile sound nerd (to some degree). Hard to know without hearing it myself in person but you may simply be describing the disadvantage of ported subwoofers. I personally am not a fan of them because they are really hard to tune to get...
