  1. IDAHO CyberBeast Delivered

I’ve been visiting Boise the last week and you are in for a wild wide. People flipping u turns to ask you questions or call you an expletive, girls asking to take em for a ride, men challenging in their lifted f150’s. Felt like I was living in some surreal nature film from the prospective of...
  2. D-rings included in Foundation Series?

So funny enough, last time my truck was in the shop they sneakily installed these without saying anything. Pleasant surprise.
  3. Nationwide delivery HOLD on all CyberTruck. Accelerator issue possible

They just rescheduled a service appointment I had for Monday I’m guessing to deal with whatever is going on with the new trucks.
  4. Update 8.12 downloading

I personally like more detail in my patch notes but I’ll take this ecu update log as a consolation prize.
  5. Update 8.12 downloading

Looks like 5 ecus got updates between 8.9 and 8.12. They really seem to be trying to get the wiper straightened out.
  6. Update 8.12 downloading

The patch notes or the ecu software status in the service mode?
  7. Update 8.12 downloading

You can check the service menu after updating to see what ecu’s got updated to get an idea of what they are poking or what for someone to download it and break it apart.
  8. Update 8.12 downloading

Damn I was just about to post about a potential new charging curve in 8.9. Guess I’ll hold off til I see what’s in 8.12. Tesla is on fire right now with these updates, we are getting new builds daily right now. Keep em coming Tesla.
  9. Rattling clicking noise from rear

Are your back seats fully locked into down or up positions? Had an annoying rattle for a bit before I realized one of the rear seats wasn’t fully lifted.
  10. New TSB Service Bulletin - Frunk Seal (Retrofit Frunk Aero Seal)

It’s hard to see in the photo but the old one had flaring along both the front edge and the edge parallel to the sides of the truck vs the new one only has flaring on the front edge
  11. TONNEAU COVER STUCK AT 5 INCHES OPEN ... on long roadtrip ... any known fixes?

Something else that’s happening is the switch on the outside of the truck that controls the tonneau cover and truck gate is failing at a pretty high rate. While the gate button definitely is the first to go, the cover open and close buttons usually fail not too long after or at least become...
  12. New TSB Service Bulletin - Frunk Seal (Retrofit Frunk Aero Seal)

Before and after the one outside is after to be clear.
  13. 2024.8.9 Software Release Out

So sticking with the original topic of this thread, coming from 8.8 to 8.9 4 ecu’s were updated bleeprearleft - rear Bluetooth Charge port Gtw3 - vehicle gateway Wiper - wiper motor
  14. New TSB Service Bulletin - Frunk Seal (Retrofit Frunk Aero Seal)

Yeh the hood got replaced too which was sort of annoying since I had polished the old one too perfection and the new one has a crap finish on it. I also preferred the old flaring but you win some and you lose some. I’ll dig up some photos when I get home
  15. New TSB Service Bulletin - Frunk Seal (Retrofit Frunk Aero Seal)

They ended up replacing my entire frunk enclosure, some notable differences is the metal on the top is only flared on the front edge, and the seal mounts appear to be further from the left and right sides. Road noise is noticeably better.
  16. Software Update disappeared?

FWIW 8.7 had some funkiness with the auto wiper so probably a good thing if you skip it.
  17. 2024.8.9 Software Release Out

Did you check the service menu to see what ECU's were updated? If so what version did you come from prior to installing .8.9?
  18. 700 miles in a day

This is the first road trip I've done in probably 5 years that didn't have auto lane keeping of some sort. The zen like focus required for multi hour sprints is so exhausting vs having that functionality to some degree. I feel ya, wasn't originally planning to do a road trip like this without...
  19. 700 miles in a day

Pretty on par to the charging curves posted elsewhere, tho there is some weirdness when starting a charge below 20%. It would get stuck at around 72~. I found if you stop charging a few minutes after you hit 20% and let things reset for a few seconds and hit start charging again it would zoom up...
