Just because you can buy a car doesn't mean you actually know how it works. The fact that you even made this comment makes you sound extremely ignorant.
At least 411W/kG as the battery weighed 450KG, and the motors produced 185kW. The nano-diamond battery is less than 0.000150Wh/kg. That means the Roadster battery had a power density of 2,740,740 times more than an NDB battery.
The energy density of the NDB is higher because it will produce...
I really have no idea what you are trying to say. Airbags don't do anything for stability or weight distribution. They never have. They only give you back your suspension travel.
Has anyone been following this battery technology? I find it fascinating that its capacity increases significantly from charging and discharging. It starts at 300Wh/kg and goes up to over 1,800Wh/kg. The data starts to disperse at that point, but it would be amazing to see a chart like this...
No, they didn't. When they installed the weight distribution hitch, the height of the rear axle was changed only by the weight distribution hitch and not the airbags at all.
They did four
I am not sure what you mean. They measured it four ways.
1. Without a trailer.
2. With a trailer and no airbags and no weight distribution.
3. With the trailer and with airbags.
4. With the trailer with with weight distribution.
What else do you think they need to compare?
That is the main reason for weight distribution. Keeping more weight on the front wheels is very important for stability. Airbags leveling the vehicle does nothing for increasing stability, and will in fact, decrease stability. It only gives the vehicle its suspension travel back, and levels...
Even if you level the vehicle, that won't change the load on the front wheels which is the main reason for having a weight distribution hitch.
This video explains it well.
Actually, modern composite hydrogen tanks in fuel cell vehicles is the safest form of energy storage. Safer than gasoline, diesel, propane, and yes, even BEV's. That will change when solid state batteries become available, but today hydrogen is by far the safest. The tanks are so tough that...
