Not all service centers will. My service center blamed my window tinting for the cracking/bubbly on all 4 of my door LEDS + dash LED despite photo proof that it appeared before my tint job. Said I’d need to spend almost $300 a door to replace.
When I went in for a visit last week, they told me the wipe motor recall isn’t official because they haven’t sent anything physical in the mail yet. So I can’t get mine replaced until then.
Sure! This is the one I purchased: https://amzn.to/3WKpDY9
I was going back and forth between the 30L and 43L but went with the 30 as it fits perfectly on the floor in the second row with the 2 seats lifted up. Have used it for about a month now and it’s been a lifesaver here in Arizona.
Looks great! Glad you had a good service visit. The Raintree service center is a joke. They refused to fix some of my issues documents on delivery day, so including some scratches that they say is normal characteristics of the stainless. I have an appointment with the service center in Tempe but...
Yep, I’ve had this occur many times. At first I thought someone tapped me but it’s nothing to worry about. Tesla said it’s just the air suspension leveling so I don’t really even notice it anymore.
This was at the Raintree location. I went back and forth with them for days (truck was here for almost 2 weeks because apparently they only have 1 technician able to work on CT). The woman who I communicated through wouldn’t budge and said since the photo I had was a day after the 1-week...
I tried this product from Maguiar’s today for the first time: https://amzn.to/3M2tn2f
It seemed to work pretty well at making the plastic look new again. I want to try it on the plastic/rubber piece just below the windows as I’ve noticed this area fading a bit. Likely due to the summer sun...
I have this same exact thing on my 4 doors. Tesla refused to fix/replace it claiming it was due to my tinting! I had 1 window not tinted due to a scratch but this door panel has the cracking in the LED strip as well which proves it’s not due to the tinting. I’m heading to a different service...
I’ve been using this interior cleaner from Car Guys. Have used it for years in my Model 3 as well. Great for seats, dash, white parts on doors. Just don’t use it on the screen or windows. Leaves a clean smell that’s not overpowering. I too have a dog who slobbers everywhere and gets his dirty...
I’m also hoping it’s just a learning curve here but man, a lot of this is just attention to detail and follow through. Especially with something like a windshield that isn’t much different than any other Tesla besides of course, size. You shouldn’t come out with more problems than when you first...
Jeeze, sorry you have to go through this. I was told by “Kelly” that there is only 1 Cybertruck technician at Raintree which is surprising. I only had some minor cosmetic things I wanted fixed which didn’t seem too much to ask for considering the price of the vehicle and I’ve been waiting 2...
Mine didn’t have any panel gaps or misalignments with the metal thankfully. I’d double check the windshield wiper and that it wipes off the entire glass area. About 2 inches of the rubber on mine was bent or melted so it was leaving a big streak on the windshield (not great during monsoon season...
