Congrats! Don’t let the Raintree folks tell you they can’t fix certain things. I’m going back and forth with them to fix some minor cosmetic issues that others have had fixed. Kinda wish I went to Tempe instead.
RIP to the drive and condolences to their family. But you don’t see the media reporting other incidents like this stating the car manufacturer. I see car fires like this all the time and the media doesn’t tell us it was a Ford or Nissan, just that it was a vehicle fire.
Were you able to get these scratches resolved through Tesla? I have some similar (minor) scratches and imperfections on my door panels and they told me there wasn’t much they could do at my service center. I’m probably going to bring it by another service center to see if they’re more helpful.
Got mine last week and I agree, it’s great. Perfect for groceries! Btw, how did you get your vault divider to fit with your bed mat? Mine won’t fit so I’m contemplating whether to take the mat out completely or forfeit about the divider.
This Meguiar’s Waterless car wash spray has worked great for me. Windex made it way worse with the smudges so I tried different products and found this. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006FUT0CS/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_SBRD8AQFN1GNR6GH54MJ?linkCode=ml2&tag=rasmoose-20
Yea one of my posts talking about my delivery experience ended up on that subreddit. Tried defending myself there and it did not end well. Those clowns spend so much time and energy talking crap about us, it’s hilarious. Just ignore all of them. As long as you enjoy what you have, that’s all...
I just tried this product from Car Guys on my friend’s interior cyber beast and it did very well with dust and some scuff marks from normal use. Didn’t change color or texture from what I saw. https://amzn.to/3xG9lHk
115+ here in Arizona and doing great. Just gotta be careful opening the door with the hot steel haha. Tinted windows/windshield help a ton too along with the roof sunshade. Air conditioned seats are also a lifesaver!
My driver’s side piece had this problem today. Noticed it while coming out the car which is parked outside. I’m in Arizona and it was around 106 out. First time I’ve seen it but it went away later in the day as it got cooler. Going to add this to my service appointment in a couple of weeks.
I 100% agree with you on the cleaning. Even compared to my Model 3, I can get all of the dog hair and dirt/grime out in 20-30 minutes. The mats do great and I think the carpeting material lets go of debris easier. The plastics also wipe clean nicely too.
I don’t have anything specific for soap and such as I’m still experimenting but the Car Guys interior cleaner has been a lifesaver for me. I used it in my Y and 3 for years. Gets dog slobber and scuffs off plastics, dash, seats. Also, this SprayAway glass cleaner has been awesome at cleaning the...
I wish they’d let us order items that are out of stock and just send it whenever it’s back. Why would they have a problem holding onto our money? Haha Maybe they’ll release some new accessories while we are all waiting.
