Man, this sucks. In your pics there looks to be water already on the road - as if these young fellas had been doing this for a while before you rolled up. Perhaps just run of the mill idiots, not targeted? Which makes me think law enforcement has a good idea of who they may be.
You know, this is very good timing. We travelled the same route over the weekend (From Newburgh to Buffalo) for the Bills game and I noticed the same thing - the frankenplug has been installed on the Applegreen charging stations.
So, if you plan on charging while on either the NYS Thruway or...
Clearly a Friday afternoon build. PIcked mine up May 2024, have 28,000 miles and no rattles to speak of, and the roads around us are anything but smooth.
I watched the entire video, and wow. That was a heck of an adventure.
Bringing so many tie-rods with you was smart, but why not use some upgraded ones to start? Just about every rig on that trail has completely customized and battle hardened suspension parts, seems unfair to expect CT to make...
So long as you can get to next supercharger, there's really no payoff for charging much more than 80% anyway. The charge rate slows so much, you'll be waiting around forever. Better to be moving toward next SC than waiting around for 100% - that is unless you absolutely can't make it without 100%
Cyberbeast vs AWD Motor
The powertrain layouts of the Tesla Cybertruck AWD and Cyberbeast are fundamentally different, primarily in the placement and type of electric motors. The AWD model uses a permanent magnet motor on the rear axle and an induction motor on the front axle, resulting in a...
Relatively big decision.
Drive them both
Make your decision
Other than neck snapping speed on tap, there's really not much difference - though some have mentioned more motor noise from front (seems to be used more for normal propulsion, but I've not verified this)
I cleaned mine last week - was getting a warning that cameras are obscured.
Very easy to do yourself, just be careful as it's easy to break the clips on the glare shield
One thing I’ve been doing that makes life much easier when launching and retrieving - disable rear wheel steering.
4WS makes it kinda crazy when backing up, especially if you have a smaller trailer because the truck simply turns too tightly.
Launch OffRoad App, Turn off Rear Steering. Works...
Well, you take your chances with that answer from Applegreen.
As posted yesterday, I was at the Molly Pitcher service station on Tuesday, August 19.
I tried their NACS plug, and it does NOT fit the Cybertruck. Won't clear the fender.
They are most definitely mistaken. Their design is some...
State of Connecticut is similar, with a specific annual property tax assessment on vehicles.
The tax dates to when there wasn't a State income tax.
Here though, it's a Town specific mil rate and we pay the assessment based on Blue Book value
If you don't like it, I guess you need to leave the...
It's been said here before, but I tried the NACS post at one the new applegreen electric chargers on the NJTP yesterday (Molly Pitcher Service Area, northbound), and of course, their crazy looking NACS charger does not fit into the Cybertruck port....uggh.
Pricing is $0.40 per kWh, comparable...
