The tires they tested and got the higher range were Pirelli’s. Scorpion I think. Not available in the 285 width yet.
The Michelin is an 80psi tire. For a truck. So hard tire means less rolling resistance and in some cases less noise.
EV’s really need a foam liner inside the tire for sound...
So, what was the no backlog of CT’s piling up in Austin?
I started this thread and got plastered for suggesting that something COULD be wrong on Austin
CT delayed for accelerator relay issue. Hmmmm
So April 12th is well past the end of March. I would expect a note from Tesla saying, sorry. Free charging for a year and we will get you your fully dressed truck by (enter a realistic date here).
Exactly! Too bad they allowed us to assume otherwise. My two other Tesla purchases both came earlier. One in 2010 and the other last year. Like the CT, the SC knew nothing until VIN was assigned.
just really disappointed because in the service app, and all my other contacts with Tesla, they...
Well, congrats. Hmmm 15 with those low vin’s. Must be a weird pipeline There are 3,000 more somewhere!!
crazy when we are left to figure it out on our own.
At this point it seems the RN is nothing more than an identifier, NOT a number like you get at the deli!!
I am thinking 3 months. 6,000 so far. Probably 10,000 that were in front of me until the Line Jumpers dropped in. So at least 5,000 more before I am even close. 50 per day, 250 per week, 1,000 per month less all the ones that I see in recent videos ...
I hope it is worth it!
Backlog - units grouped together in large numbers for some reason that may NOT be apparent.
If they are making 5 or 10 times more Model Y's than CT, where are they? Gone to customers. Why are there 10 x's more CT's in the flyover videos than Y's when we know ALL production is sold for the...
Strict order of Reservation numbers? Yeah, implied but never explained and line jumpers were NOT mentioned either.
But my real issue is not these things. My issue is DT. (Dial tone) or crickets or just plain ignoring us. Nearly 2 million of us. We are pathetic to allow Tesla, in these...
So just today, a person in Indiana got a VIN for 4/15 delivery and they ordered 1/17 and have a reservation 1128xxx. I ordered on 1/18 and the same range of RN. So, since they are at VIN 67xx, and I was 100,000 from the front of the reservation line, I figure I have six to 8 more weeks before...
Well, there is a problem if they have hundreds of CT's sitting there, sold, not delivered. Can anyone think of why that would be other than transport? Transport is lame because they know how many fit on a truck and they can get trucks there. If it was transport, Y's would be piled up too.
