See attached notes from my Wiper motor repair in order to fix alignment issue. At 65 mph the blade should move towards the left edge of the windshield (drivers perspective) where it’s barely visible from inside the vehicle. This changed after my wiper recall motor repair. This was their repair...
OK so my truck is fixed. Tesla covered the $2100 roof replacement. They fixed the wiper issue. For the one that was told there is no recall on the wiper motor, there absolutely is and you need to pull it up so you can get the repair.
I was told the wiper was more on the right side (from driver...
No, you have to read between the lines. I didn’t tint mine because it probably would have not been covered and I would have paid $2100 to replace the roof. I think those that have tint with a higher UV protection are reflecting that heat into the outer glass of the outer pane glass roof thereby...
It cracked and spread across the entire root. No impact or reasons why.
Do not put tint on the double pane roof top!! Will reflect back into the top glass and crack it. Didn’t happen to me but I’m told this can cause a problem.
Wow thanks all for the info. And yes mine sits more to the right from the drivers perspective as well. I am having my roof replaced now as we’re speak. I brought this to the attention of the SC so I’m interested in what they say. May be a software fix at some point. I don’t like how it stands...
If you mean the wiper goes on then sits in the horizontal position for about 30 seconds before raising back up vertical, that’s normal to keep water from running up the windshield.
Since having the recall fix on the wiper (motor swap out) have any of you noticed the wiper no longer moves to the far left side of the windshield location for aerodynamics like it’s supposed to?
Great statement. My truck is in the shop getting the roof replaced (cracked) but I’ll see if at least one might fit in the frunk to sit on. I don’t think the frunk is deep enough. I’ll take pictures.
Just received two jump seats. I’m not sure about the back rest. If it’s not leaning up against anything, how much weight can it actually take. I sat on the floor in it and went back about 4-5 inches I’m just not sure how far back or for how long it will last without tearing the side mesh. I have...
I would think the wheel covers will go out to owners that received their trucks and in order, before they start adding them to the trucks during manufacturing.
