Has anyone been able to get their aero covers without having the email from the SC? My advisor in Irvine says I have to have the email before I get the covers from them. Some folks are getting them put on when their truck is in for other maintenance!!

In California repair shops will report body damage to a certain extent and it will be attached to the truck. Check local rules and check with Tesla Collision to see how they handle.

I don’t think the SC will install unless your having something done already or you get a good SC Rep. they don’t want to scratch the wheel and/or not enough techs. That’s what I’ve been told SC in Irvine. They say since instructions are on line it’s on us. I bet they would if you fuss!

Actually it’s a tailgate pad it protects the tailgate from things that may hang over or on top of the lift/tailgate. The seats have G Hooks specifically for the tailgate pad so they stay in place and can mount in place on the lift gate.

That is definitely a concern and I’m contemplating weather our not I leave it on. I think in time I’ll take it off but additionally, to just reapply the wrap to the litigate will not be too costly. Couple hours and roughly $200 I’d imagine

Yes, they are ok. My only wonder is how strong the side mesh is. I have to think there must be a weight capacity or the seats are much stronger than they look. I do like the feel with them on the litigate and feet hanging off the edge.

Looks good. With the Tonneau cover closed it adds support to the back, but I’m also thinking/hoping the seats are strong enough to not have to rely on that. Not sure I’ll leave this in place daily or just when going to sit somewhere and watch something.

Negative, I had to have my roof replaced due to cracking. After the repair I had wind noise at 32-58ish mph. Took two days and almost new roof replacement before they found there was a strip of tape or insulation between the windshield and where it meets the roof that was not in place correctly.

That’s my favorite color and I was going to get that, but it was discontinued by Stek due to the paper being defective and cracking. That was last year. Is this an improved/updated version?

No, but I know why. It was helpful that they told me there was no history of the glass cracking. Not a defect from manufacturing. Just do not tint or at least do not use UV protected tint. It obviously reflects back to the outer roofs duel pane Which is what cracked!!
