I started yesterday at about 10:30 in the morning but did a heavy wheel wash before the car wash application. I’d say about 4 hours for the prep work and first coating, then I finished this morning putting a second coat on that only took about 1 hour.
I have to say for those of you that are considering ProtectaClear but on the fence, I’ll say do it, and do it yourself unless you have money to burn or physically can’t or don’t want to. I’m no pro but with time and a couple old fashioned’s and good music, I can do anything. I’m very very...
I ordered and will be getting my kit tomorrow. I’m going to try and tackle this project myself. I was able to do the BKF/Windex when I first got the truck so hoping I can handle this and save a couple grand. Anyone here try to do this themselves

I was able to order this morning. I put myself on the list a while back to get notified. Right after I ordered mine this morning, within an hour they were back out of stock. If you guys want items that are out of stock you need to put your selves on the list to be notified when it’s back. As...
That’s what I was wondering. What do I do about the refill? I leave for vacation tomorrow, but will return home to do the BKF and windex again. First coat seems to have worked for about a month. Then going to protectaclear my tires (Because I love the shine look on them but the sling happens...
I just got my truck back after just 2 days from Tesla. Minor fixes (reading light, window not auto up and down) more importantly some fit issues. Driver door and frunk were off set. Tesla said it was in spec but after debating they sent it to a shop.

I figured it out. In order to change the usb saved sound so it will play a newly downloaded sound, I had to prior to inserting the usb drive in the CT, I had to go into boombox and select any other factory sound (switch out of USB), then insert the usb in the truck, then reelect usb. I have seen...
I wasn’t clear. I added a transformer lock sound and loaded it on my USB. Now, I can’t change it. I want to change the usb wav to a light saber sound and when I add it to the USB and delete the old sound, the old sound is still there. Like it loaded it on to the dang CT hard drive.
My CT is in service getting minor items fixed and I was told the Accelerator is being fixed only if customer requests it. That didn’t seem right to me.
I’m glad they increased the sound!! Mine is in the shop getting very minor “Due Bill” items fixed so I will not get it back until sometime today or tomorrow. I now show that there is an update (nice one at that) two needs for me were the very low volume lock sound and the very slow charging at...
I agree. Have had mine for about 35 days and over 2300 miles. I’m taking it in tomorrow for the first time only to get minor Due Bill items fixed. A rear reading light (that I broke) driver door adjustment, I’m sure the accelerator pedal, frunk adjustment, and the dash led light due to a very...
For sure. I think of it as a clay wax on a regular car exterior. Just watch the entire video. I’m surprised you have not seen this. This guy from OOS Detailing flew to Austin to work on his friends truck and went through several trial and error solutions and formulas before coming up with this...
See pictures. This is the best way I’ve found to clean inside and outside windows. I got the tool from O’Reilly Auto Parts. Maybe Auto Zone has it as well. For inside windshield just spray on the microfiber pad and start at the bottom. Works great and streak free.
