Eh you'd be surprised to know that Steve Job's philosophies still carries on to this day. He really set the culture for their product design. I think it's the same about Elon.
You may find that water leaks into your bed a lot. Request a Service letting them know. Take a pic of the holes and that you think water is possibly getting through there. And they will add a slat into the tonneau for you for free. That's what happened for me.

One feature I think they overlooked is parking in garages with a height limit. The CT will need to be able figure out whether or not it should enter the garage based on height restrictions especially if you have a roof rack with stuff on top of it, which may exceed the height limit. Will see..

It really opens up the possibilities for the space in your truck bed when you have 2 levels. And these are great because the OEM Cyber Cargo Bins are able to slide under easily!

If I compare this to the cybertent l-track mounts, those have more than 2 screw points into the l-track, so Iām guessing that the more screw points into the track, the more weight your crossbar/rack can support.
Can someone investigate that?
I see that this could be a useful step into a RTT on the Mars expedition rack, if the cross bar can support it.
