Don’t similar motors push the model S plaid close to 200 miles an hour?
Yet 35 inch tires do not exist beyond a T speed rating
S Up to 112 mph
T Up to 118 mph
It’s also physically limited by the tires they don’t make 35 inch tires with a higher speed rating
S Up to 112 mph
T Up to 118 mph
They say a chain is only as strong as it’s weakest link ?
Seems like a reasonable question if you’re gonna have a 2.6 second 0 to 60 845 something horsepower super truck.
As been said it’s tires tires tires rating
If you could override the software, the thing will probably do one 160+ of course tire failure at that speed will not be pretty
So more...
This is crazy! So I’ve had a minute one order for four years now and I don’t get an email to order? I have to login every couple hours hoping to see an order your truck??
I did just login and do not see that opportunity. My order says they will let me know when I can configure it. I think I did...
Very cool. Thank you for sharing this.
I too am a minute one order (tri motor, no FSD )and appear to have an even earlier reservation number of 112748..
Does this mean I should be getting an invite to order anytime soon? I’ve purchased one Tesla model three and live in Washington state.
Any...
Very sad for the many thatve contributed here for years to get priced out and not provided the options promised.
“Buy more Tesla stock” is a pretty tone deaf, if not delusional response
I wasn’t implying real world fast and furious racing. It’s more bragging rights and the thrill of flooring it on a long highway, on-ramp, remote road etc.
You are not alone. However, many arguments are made on this forum on how Tesla is not in it for the profits and this is supposed to be a truck for everyone with rainbows and unicorns.
Good explanation.
However, the TRX is 88 inches wide.
Width needs to include widest points across the body, including fenders (the larger wheels go right up to the edge of these flares, anyhow) but not mirrors/or mirrors folded in
The Tesla website says the cyber truck is 86.5 inches wide with mirrors folded in. This is very wide in general and for comparison is about the same as a Ford raptor and even the first generation military Hummer H1. Most full-size pick ups are about 80 inches wide.
The ram TRX is the widest that...
If you have your superstar fix like in your case, it’s probably not worth it
If I was to guess the differences, it would probably compare performance, or plaid diffs, which MAY include:
Brakes
Wheels/tires
Badging/color
An aero/spoiler feature
just guessing
I’d suggest asking yourself if you like fast cars? Have you ever driven a car that does sub three second 0 to 60? At 2.6 seconds. This is considered supercar territory in a full-size truck. You’ll see some of the test videos out right now on YouTube where they are drag racing the truck and the...
