Lemon law is a state law so it could be slightly different. I assume it's the sate where you purchased the car. You want to lemon it instead of a buy back. Lemon includes taxes and fees you paid and it's a 100% refund. Tesla arbitration is pretty fair so go through them.
Below is an example of...
Start an arbitration next week. Ask for a new truck. They will probably do it (we know people have skipped lines already). Don't listen to service center since they really have no control of assigning trucks. My very early Model 3 was in the shop for 30+ days straight. I could have lemoned it...
I think it was already posted here that the voucher was one time use. It didn't get a lot of traction because it was probably buried in someone's reply under a different topic. I remember reading about this a few times somewhere. Hopefully Tesla allows a refund and give you a new voucher.
Tesla will not go after you in court if you sell. It's a waste of their lawyers' time to go after 20, 50, or 100s of owners who decided to sell.
They will do what's easy and just blacklist you from buying future Teslas. What Tesla could easily do to stop this is to cancel warranty, remove FSD...

Thanks for adding timestamps. I went back to my email and my AMEX was charged $250 at 8:30 pm pst on 12/8. My RN is lower and ordered before you. Looks like those doesn't matter. I'm in SoCal.
Guess they work off of batches and randomly assigning VINs in those batch. Makes sense to save time on...
Thanks for the updates and additional info.
I was wondering if VIN were assigned at factory or delivery center. It's good to know it's from GTX. My delivery center changed from Buena Park to Long Beach to Irvine. Looks like that has no effect on when I get a VIN.
Also, what time did you get...
My 2nd loan app just expired. My order was 12/8. Has anyone received their VIN before applying for a Tesla loan?
I'm not sure if I should apply again or wait since the app now expires in 30 days instead of 60.
1st loan was 6.79% on 12/8
2nd loan was 6.59% on 2/10
Now the rates shows 6.49%...
