Tesla experience is the worst. They have the worst customer service. Try getting a hold of a person to speak with. The Cybertruck is my last Tesla. Once they are passed on the kids as their learner vehicles, we will buy a Rivian or Lucid. Service may be just as bad, but I'm done with Tesla. My...
Great video. Just saw it after I just got my light bar working.
Tesla wouldn’t solder it so after a month and 4 Tesla service visits, one service center did it the correct way. They unplugged the B-pillar harness and soldered the wires for me. I just plugged in the harness and the lightbar is...
There were a few other CTs outside waiting on different services. The service techs talked very loud so I could hear that they said CT was the worst vehicle they worked on and wish they never touched them. Then one of the advisor came to me and said they added a lightbar to mine as a favor since...
The service center i went to said they'll no longer install any more lightbars. I gave them too much headache about the soldering part. i went there 5 times to get it done and they declined even when I went over the document on their own PC.
Thanks, but someone posted an online version in this thread. Looks like Tesla wasn't supposed to remove the blackout tape or connect the harness, but they did that with my truck. They were supposed to solder instead. I will talk to service next week.
Nothing. I have tried a few times and even...
I use it a few times each drive, but I disengage a lot because I don’t like its lane selections or slowness.
For example:
1) Doing 75mph it will try to get behind a truck doing 55mph a mile before the exit when there are no cars in front of the truck.
2) It will change lanes to an empty lane...
I called and they said I just need to plug the harness in at the b-piller. However, it was the 4th person that they passed the phone to, but none were the tech that worked on my truck. Then today, I opened the B-pillar and see that the plugs are already plugged in. I guess I'll just have a none...
Thanks. I didn’t receive any extra parts like the heat shrink tubes or off-road lightbar jumper. Does that mean they soldered it for me? What did your service note say? Mine said customer to solder. However, I didn’t get any extra parts.
How easy or difficult it was to remove the b-pillar to...
Service installed my lightbar but didn’t give me any instructions on what to do next. They put in a note that it needs to be soldered but I don’t see it in the posted instructions from this tread. Do I just need to clip the cables together in the B-piller?
I’m in CA and FSD keeps telling me it’s degraded because of the camera. The wiper can’t really clean up there as you mentioned. I think due to lack of downforce on the wiper contacting the window up there so it just smears dirt around it.
I have a service appt to change the motor on the wiper...
I like the headlight bar. Could they be pointed down like fog lights and used legally on the street? My CT headlights are very poor compared to my other Teslas. I think I need additional headlights or fog lights for street use.
There used to be an option to message an executive at Tesla from the app. I used it to complain about the Model 3 price drop in 2019 and they gave me FUSC and FSD (I bought EAP).
