I went to a shop that was pretty bad too. If your shop is only 1 or 2 ppl., run. He is a DIYer. No matter what your follow up is, he will do a bad job unless he is a large shop that has an experienced crew that worked on many types of vehicles and shapes.
Hmm. His experience is the same as mine. I was sick for the 1st couple of days of owning the CT. It’s because it’s too high. Model 3 was my highest ride.
The steering is not linear so it takes time to get used to. Software has improved it. The 4 wheel steering makes the CT shake when turning...
Same issue for me. Many times I just let the wheel free roam because I can't hold it while I open or close my water bottle.
I'm actually going to try to sit back more and try steering with my feet. Gonna learn a new driving skill.
Yes, you could sell it for more money, but they can sue you for $50k or the full profit you made over $50k. I didn't want to risk it since the highest offer I got on my Beast was $145k. I paid $135k out the door so a $10k profit is really nothing. The truck is paid with free money so I don't...
I got a hold of them by texting back on the CT text message chain. Then they followed up via email.
I rejected their offer and said I will sell to 3rd party if they can’t match their offer.
Tesla offered me a buy back as stated in the contract, but I will lose like $15k in taxes so I didn’t sell it back. They said they will sue me if I resell it to others.
Oh, I see what you mean. No, I don't like the lag or smoother input on the brakes. I drive without shoes and use my toes. I like sensitive instant inputs. In normal driving, it's fine since I don't brake at all. I play a game where I slow down and stop without making the brake lights turn On...
It is not about smoothness. It's the feedback so delayed feedback = poor performance to me. Just like steer-by-wire which I don't like at all. Can't steer by the go pedal as it's not linear with the steering wheel. However, latest firmware have made sufficient improvements there.
