I'm probably completely alone on this.. But I'd rather just have the current driving simulation with perhaps more improvements on vehicle types and accuracy in identifying them.
I could care less if looks more realistic with details like trees and clouds, etc. More details just adds more...
If they are adding noise dampening pads for a door that is rattling because of adhesive failure, they are doing it wrong and not following Teslaās own procedures for repairing it. The door adhesive failing is a structural failure and must be repaired/replaced to maintain integrity of the doors...
The main two ways for repairing it is either by replacing the door entirely or just stripping the door and reapplying an improved adhesive.
Many of the regular service centers are not qualified to do the repair and if possible they will refer you to a Tesla collision center for repair.
If no...
This.
The clips need to be properly in place, or the console will continue to fall down even if it looks like itās properly in place. Pull it down carefully, check the white clips for proper location placement and then put it back.
Due to constantly needing to clean the front glass covering...
I had the adhesive fail in three of my four doors. Tesla repaired the three doors (not replaced) last month and so far itās been perfect. No rattle when closing or at highway speeds anymore. Might be worth utilizing the warranty If you still have it before going all in on a project yourself.
Oh yeah. Easily. Probably even more than 5k. The charging stations I use 90 percent of the time for work are usually charging .44 cents per kWh, with some peaking as high as .58 cents per kWh. But I live in California and energy here is horribly expensive.
For me the free supercharging for life was well worth it. I got mine in the first week of January this year and I've already charged 14,380 kWh at the superchargers. But I also don't have the ability to charge at home.
Same here. I drive just under 3k miles a month for work and its all highways with lots of semi's and trucks hauling gravel. I can live with 35 bucks a month for peace of mind.
Mine will alert me if the door button is pressed.
Only exception to this would be if I was in the parking lot at the same time, and close enough that the truck can detect my phone. Then it seems to be less concerned if someone presses the button.
edit: Not that you should have to do this...
I just had three of my four doors repaired for delamination. Tesla opted to reapply the andhesive and not replace the doors for my Cybertruck. Along with reapplying the adhesive, they went through internal assemblies and replaced some parts, etc.
My repair was performed by a Tesla collision...
I have the latest update on my iPhone and the latest update for my AWD FS and I still donāt have any b-pillar recording when sentry is triggered. š¢
I have been able to see B-pillar cameras in live view for as long as Iāve had the truck. So no difference at all for me.
Not sure Iād say itās a flop yet. Thereās still time to get sales up. But I donāt think itās ever going to be the mass market seller that Tesla has hoped it would be.
With that said, I took my truck into a Tesla Collision center yesterday to get warranty work done on 3 of my 4 doors that are...
24 AWD Founder (purchased 1/3/25) with 21,702 miles and 311 miles at 100 percent. I don't have the covers for the wheels on. I charge it up to 100 percent at least twice a week and drain it down to 10 percent at least 2-3 times a week.
Only lost about 5 miles off of the max range it was...
I'm a simple man with simple needs. I'd be happy if they just updated the Cybertruck to have B-pillar sentry recording like the other modern modern Tesla's now have.
