The frunk is perfect for small stuff that would slide around in the trunk. Think laptop backpack, grocery bags and similar. I purchased a loading net for the trunk that works well. However the frunk is more convenient for me despite it not being powered.
I heard it when watching the Giga Berlin contruction videos, the current factory is 1/4 of the originally planned size and can expand in future phases. But me thinking I heard it from a dubiuos source is not like having it confirmed by Elon.
The evidence is circumstantial.
Elon tweeted Giga...
Tesla is building the 4680 factory in Berlin and they are planning to eventually start Cybertruck production there. We will have to wait for the Berlin factory to start or we wait for excess capacity in Austin.
Global deliveries will likely lag behind US deliveries. I really need my CT now :( -...
Around 10% of the orders are from Europe. Similar to the number of orders from Canada.
Maybe 100k European orders if there are 1 million orders total. I have not seen Elon confirm total number of orders recently.
An old article...
How do you imagine "Europe"? Like Sweden and Switzerland is the same because they both make chocolate and beer? Or Europe is like Paris? You think Finland and Portugal are the same?
Elon took my $100 deposit. Tesla better send some ships with cybertrucks to Europe or start making them in Berlin.
F150 and RAM are available here - no need to speculate if pickups are legal in Europe.
Not sure if you meant to reply to my post. My point is that the prototype approximates the production version. The prototype is not a completely different design with completely different engineering. The prototype is likely to have a structural battery pack. The dash is likely to be attached...
That link is a bit biased. The article forgets mentioning the already astronomical customer demand and long wait times. Nah, obviously Tesla is not profitable and "forced" to raise prices due to inflation and supply shortages where the US EV credit is required to support global demand.
I dont...
I want the car to come with the essentials included. When Elon is out of the picture, some MBA will for sure monetize everything. I vote to not have an app store in the car and not have to pay through the nose for every little thing.
I made a reservation because of the affordability. I stretched from 40k to 50k to get a bit more range. Elon says he's working on the affordability and some people go "yadda yadda - 89k at least". I obviously still expect an affordable dual motor for 50k. Have some faith friends.
How is the wiper ugly? Looks like a normal wiper to me, just not hidden. Given the functional design of the cybertruck in general - anything efficient should be fine.
